trying to go 275 square on OEM staggered rays, with 1 inch drop on coils, would the front have any issues?
|
Finally get to join the Meaty club!!!
Picked up some TE37SLs on craigslist :stirthepot: 19x9.5 +22 Front 19x10.5 +22 Rear -20mm Spacer, effective offset +2 285/35 Front 325/30 Rear on the all new Michelin Pilot Sport 4s Lowered on Swift Springs With the spacer it has super aggressive poke but would rub on the outside of the fender quite horrifically so I had to take off the spacer and it is actually quiet flush considering it is +22, thought it would be much worse. Dont have pictures without the Spacers but will add if requested. No rubbing without the spacers. ONLY if i have a passenger, get some slight rub occasionally on the front right for some reason, havent inspected the cause. (No fat chicks) :rofl2: http://www.the370z.com/members/jsavv...-17-06-25.jpeg http://www.the370z.com/members/jsavv...1-17-06-25.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/jsavv...1-17-06-25.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/jsavv...1-17-06-25.jpg |

Tell us about the ride quality & info on the PS4s,,,as I’m looking at possibly 275/35,325/30’s for my 10/12’s setup in the spring....my 285/345 Invo’s have done well....but want to try Michelin’s & the 345 is discontinued in the PS4s. Thanks for any input/ as these tires look great!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...aa707e5d45.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Fuhhhh 345s :stirthepot:
I like the PS4s but to be honest- I havent driven them super hard because my fronts rub more than I like. Low key wish I got 275's probably wouldnt rub at all. Need to roll my front fenders for sure. Quote:

Yep jsavvy; being lowered & +22’s on your 9.5/10.5” combo is 3/8” more aggressive up front & 1/8” less aggressive in rear; vs my +38 10/12’s on Factory ride height.
I plan to lower a tick/ after I get supporting parts to retain my -1.0* camber all around. But those PS4S meats look really good! I gotta get out the base Wheels & my All Seasons,,,cause weather is dipping cool here in S.C. Invo’s don’t like the cold & I sure wouldn’t ruin a set of summer Michelin tire’s in it either. Ty for reply. :) |
Front 275/35 19
Rear 305/30 19 With 20mm spacer square Stock sport rays:rofl2: No issue at all |
Well I just finished reading this entire thread. Yup, all 1135 posts, and I did learn a lot, and I recently replaced my tires with a bigger than stock size.
Sadly the most noticeable lesson here was that what is seemingly “meaty” to me is apparently only lunch meat to some of you guys... No pics posted, I’m outta here... LOL :ugh2: -Spoiler |

What is the best 325 wide all season? It snows every now and then here and rains damn near every day. I run Continental DWS06 currently in 285's but want to go back to meaty. I used to have 305 NT05R's and loved the traction. I want something wide for all year long when I order my new wheels here in a week. The sizes will be 325 rears and 285 fronts. All I found that wide on tirerack is the A/S+ Run Flats in 325. Are there any other options?

WOW, we have a good many folks running 19x10 front and 19x11.5 rear now. Very few when I ordered my set. If I get another set, I guess I will need to fit 19x10.5 and 19x12 to be different, LOL.

If I had to do it again I would do these offset. They should fit.

Did a lot of you guys relocate the front bumper/fender tab? My side wall is getting chewed up on my 265.

I have 285s on the front and lowered 1”....rubs on the wheel liners only when I powered through dips and speed bumps. Sounds like you’re too low on the coil overs with aggressive offsets.

I am via coil overs. I’m on 19x10.5 + 7 (305R) and 19x9.5 +17 (265F) p front just barely tucking tire. Fenders are rolled, tabs have been cut, liners have been slightly cut as well and it seems like the culprit is the front bumper/fender tab. Just wanted to see how many, or if there people, that have done it. |
Well, I ended up cutting out the old fender/bumper tab and relocated the bolt further down about an inch and I am clear. Finally.

I'll be joining the 305's club by tomorrow. I went with Hankook 265/35/19 and 305/30/19. For the time being they're going on the stock rays. Also bought some permanent tire lettering, yes I know cheesy.

Hi Guys,
I'm new here and new to the 370Z club, just like to share some photos about Meaty Tires Not as wide as some here, but I went for what is legal over here and maximum recommended tyre size per wheel width, again due to road rules. Tyre Brand: Goodyear Front: 265/40/19 (Wheel is +25 Offset) Rear: 295/35/19 (Wheel is +12 Offset) Goodyear have wider treads than other tire brands per width spec. Example. The 295 has 12 inch Tread and it shows clearly when you see it, compare it to a Michelin 305 or 315, it actually has wider Tread. Compare the Goodyear 295 to the Stock Nismo Dunlop 285, the tread is a good inch and a bit wider even though they're suppose to be only 10mm difference. The wall ratio I chose also led to a 2.5% increase in height increase for the front and about 1.2% increase for the rear. End result is the wheel gap for front and rear are reduced, with the front reduced by about 0.4 inch, on top of the Nismo's already reduced by 0.4 inch the front looks lowered even though it is on stock springs and suspension setup. http://www.the370z.com/members/1upz-...1-rear-bit.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/1upz-...ear-quarts.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/1upz-...m8r-wheels.jpg |
