I want to see someone run a 325 frt, and a 345 rear set-up. :yum:

Maybe a 10.5 +30 something thereabouts. Still, it'd be tough to stuff it that's for sure. Would need a little stretch just to get them in the wheelwell cleanly even with moderate -camber.

Hey guys I'm running a wide body (flares) 50mm wider than stock. Fenders are cut and I am on Airlift bags. I'm switching up my setup to go more aggressive/meaty. My wheels are 18X10 -13 and 18X13 -26 . My plan is to wrap them in 305/35/18 and 335/30/18 Toyo Proxes R888. My question is do you think the 305/35/18 is too large for the fronts? I'm aiming for a specific look and it's not stretched and cambered. My build is S30 track Inspired, so I want thick and meaty. Any info/suggestions is appreciated. PFA

I think you will be fine...I'm planning on running 305/35/18 or 315/30/18 square on my next set of tires. Go big or go home!!!:nutswinger:

It's hard finding wider tires in 18's nowadays. I'd prefer to stick with 18's but will probably end up with a set of 19 so I can actually get the tires I want. |

I'm tempted to give those TQ's a go. They apparently wear quite well for a drag radial. Usually that means they don't have the bite of others, but that's probably ok too.
More Meaty :yum: http://www.the370z.com/members/chase...5-img-4544.jpg |
I'm in process of buying new radials and through all the research the toyo's don't compare to say the nt05r or the Mickey Thompsons, just 2 cents

No 315/35 in popular make and models of tires is a gigantic pain in the *** BTW

Think I'll just say F it and go completely the other way with 20x10 and 20x12 and drop the car again.

Got the Advan F7's, they definitely aren't meaty. Will have to take care of that promptly. In the meantime going to refinish them. Originally they were just bare with clearcoar, might either go back to that or powdercoat a nice gun metal.

Feel like I read through every page, trying to nail this down. :stirthepot:
Heres what I am thinking - Front - 19x9.5 +22 w/ 285/35/19 Rear - 19x10.5 +12 w/ 325/30/19 (Can i squeeze 345)? (No VDC issues here right?) Lowered on Swifts... Will I rub with stock camber components? I dont think so because the diameters are relatively close to what i have right now and i dont rub one bit while running- Front 18x9.5 +12 w/ 245/45/18 Rear 18x11 +20 (-25mm Spacer, -5 effective) w/ 275/40/18 |

As the fitment of a 285/35 will fit a 9.5" wheel no problem, The 345's usually call for a 12" wheel....My Nitto Invo's are probably the narrowest 345's mounted on a 19x12, measuring 13.3" at widest point/ while Michelins are 13.8". The Invo's will be your best shot at a 345,as by the way it fits-appears it would fit an 11" wheel...they may be pinched on a 10.5", but I've seen 345/30/18 drag radials on a 10.5 wheel. |
I running 285/35-19 P4S on 19x9.5, +25 front. Stock height. There is a small lump inside the fender, towards the bumper. Think it is for bolt clearance. That's the only place that I rub at. I do trackdays. So that maybe why I rub in that spot. The extra cornering forces.
In the rear. I'm running 345/30-19 PPS on 19x12, +28. No rubbing, but I don't think I have enough clearance to run a true coil-over in the rear. It's tight at the top of tire and shock. If true coil-overs are in your plans. Go with the 325's. |

Could I run 305/35/20 with 1 inch spacers in the rear?
