Actually this is about original specs for the rear.
Yes I do recommend getting camber arms.

Yeah I'm fine with -1.5 . Just wanted to make sure there won't be any rubbing. Sounds like I'm safe..now think I should run 275 in the front lol

With the 275 in front? Now I cant promise you there would be no rubbing. Lol
255 or 265 might be a better option if you are concerned about rubbing.

Haha I've seen people run 275 on here but they probably have coilovers and could adjust. Yeah ill look into camber arms soon!

^ try to consider too that your using the front OeM front wheels. The 275 would be too wide to accommodate the shorter width of your wheels. Your front wheels should be at least 9.5 or 10. The front sport rays is only 19x9.

Widest Tires on Sport rims!

Rear = 325/30 R19 Cooper Zeon RS3-S
Front = 285/35 R19 Bridgestone Potenza S04

Dropped on Swift springs
15mm H&R spacers on front

Thx to VinceThe1 for inspiration after he used the same combo on a Nismo!

Had 20mm spacers with the 285s out back with the 15mm spacers and 245s up front. Reused my almost new 285s up front and had to remove the 20mm spacers out back. The Coopers are slightly narrower than most other 325s.

The link below is your friend to figure out the fit of tires/spacers etc. before and after to prevent you from making a costly mistake. Offsets on the sport wheels are +47 front and +30 rear. Adding spacers subtracts from these numbers (ie 15mm spacers reduced my front offset to +32):

Here are the pics:

Because I'm lowered, I have a very slight rub on the front inner fenders when going over deep dips in the road at speed. Next I'll add rear camber rods and front camber arms and get a new alignment to finish tweaking.

BrockDM1 09-13-2016 05:42 PM

Nothing too crazy but I'm running 305/30/20 on the rear with a 12" wide wheel. I wanted to go wider but my Nismo fender flares would pose a problem.

I'm running a 20X10 +25 and a 20X12 +0 on bags with 50mm wide body front and rear thinking about a 305/30/20 and either a 325/30/20 or 345/30/20.. basically I want to go as big and meaty as I can. Partially why I went widebody, and didn't go more aggressive. Any suggestions/ input is appreciated.

What do you guys think about these wheels:

The GTR guys were talking about that company.

Their website won't list the available offsets for each size. Thats immediately a deal breaker.

That doesn't make any sense. You want widebody but not aggressive?

and a 345/30/20 is insane, comes out to 28.1 inches

OEM nismo rear is a 285/35/19, comes out to 26.9

why would you want to add a full inch of overall diameter?

Also i'm pretty sure you have a typo on your front wheel size, 20x15 +25 ?! You must mean 20x10 +25. Thats like sorta flush fronts.

You're on bags but you want "meaty tires"

i don't get what you want to do

i suggest digging through some of the wheel fitment threads as well as others build threads and finding something you like and copying them as close as possible

MarksZ34 10-04-2016 08:23 PM

widebody

With 20" rims you need a 345/25 R20 in the rear that at ~26.8" diameter is closer to stock and your 305/30 R20 in front is okay at 27.2"

This is assuming you typoed and your rims are 20x12 out back and 20x10 in front as in your signature.

If you really meant 15" wide rims on back and 12" up front, IMO the 345 tire would look stretched on the 15" rear rim since the tire is only 13.6" section width.

I use this link to see what they would look like but the rim size only goes up to 13" wide:

Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

The optimal with the 15" rear rims would be a 365/25 which is 14.4" section width and matches your front diameter at 27.2". When I looked a while back 345/25 are the widest 20" low profile tires I could find; not sure if that has changed???

Im new to wheel stuff. Can you explain to me why that not listing the available offsets make it a deal breaker?

OptionZero 10-05-2016 05:45 PM

Either they're too stupid to realize it matters or they don't want to cater to folks who want specific sizing

So sounds like they dont care about that segment of customers, so why should we care about them

Go to SSR, Work, Rays, they have charts and brake clearance and spoke design in charts and stuff so folks can, i dunno, pick what they want?

Would you go to a dealership and say, hey, i want to buy "a car"? How bout a a dealership that says we have "cars" but dont tell you anything about models, trim, features, options, what not

its stupid

For a while TireRack wouldnt let you search for wheels by size/offset. I dunno if they've added that. It was annoying as hell, when you tried to ask them for stuff the folks on the phone had no clue how to help you. They're forced to tell you this car needs this size without realizing not everyone is lame and sticking to "recommended" sizes.

cv129 10-05-2016 05:52 PM

Shadow85, I'm not a big wheel guy, but here is my 2 cents....

In plain English, offset dictates how sunken the wheel is into the wheel well.

Offset is an important criterion in choosing wheels. Offset greatly changes the look (or stance) of the car, which is many times why we buy aftermarket wheels in the first place. Offset is needed to determine brake caliper clearance. Also, offset sometimes can dictate the width of tires and rims that can be used.

shadow85 10-05-2016 05:59 PM

OK I did only google offsets last night. So yes now I understand it much better.

Just amazing how much there is to wheels when shopping for them, it really isn't that simple and straight forward.

There is wheel size, width, offset, Tyre size, wall thickness and plenty more etc to shop for lol when choosing wheels. I thought I could just pick a wheel that I like the looks of and that's it.

OptionZero 10-06-2016 12:42 AM

lol. No.

I could but I gave my self the option with the +22 and I can just add a 10 mm spacer and achieve the same results.
