Does anyone have photos of stock wheels with 275 fronts?

Suspension mods only include Eibach F/R sways & SPL end-links, not lowering. (I'm a snow belt DD) |
Will you be able to drive it without disconnecting the ABS? 26.6" front diameter & 26" rear? Huge difference...more common is 265/35 & 305/30.....both 26.3".... Or 275/35 & 325/30 (26.6F & 26.7R)
Just wondering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I shared your concern when I started looking at sizing. This started in unison with my install of ft & rr sways and end-links 2 weeks ago, knowing that I badly needed rears to support the new sideways. So I started checking what would add contact width. My choice was the Michelin PSS (mostly since my previous experiences with them have been outstanding) - in the 295/30 size, which would add over an inch of tread and still fit on the recommended rim size. (I run Sports - not Nismo) That brought me to the fronts and I wanted to go wider there too. But the diameter dif?? I didn't find anything that fully blessed my endeavor, but an Altima, Porsche, and Camaro forum each mentioned a plus/minus variance of 3% between front and rear would not trouble the ABS/VDC. And more, the fronts being so close to stock diameter would not challenge the speedometer any. Then I ran into trouble getting the 295's from either TR or DT. Michelin PSS in that size were on back order everywhere. The S0-4's happened to come in those size ranges too - although much skimpier on the tread width dimension ;-( and were immediately available 'on sale' from TR. Deemed worth the try... Have now gone 600 miles since mounting. 400 highway – very! aggressive, rest mixed - mild aggressive. No warning lights or misapplied braking of any kind. (I already have 53,000 miles on this 2 year old dog – I would hope to notice something amiss.) No guarantee, but so far so good. If all proves out I'll get the Mich's during the winter and then attack for real! |
No time to scrub through 57 pages of posts, so I apologize if this has already been asked!
I was hoping I would find some info though on good pairings for tire sizes that would fit the stock 19 inch forged rays that are on the 2013/2014 370z. I don't have spacers and would rather not add any. Currently stock sizes are 245/40/19 F and 275/35/19 R, I'd like to go wider front and rear but am trying to avoid a setup that will make the understeer worse. Recommendations from owners of stock 19 inch forged rays would be appreciated! :) would love to know what you're running and if you are using spacers or not. Feel free to PM so so it doesn't clog up this thread. Cheers BB |

Right on...just got the rears in 305's in February need fronts, thinking of squaring it up with 275 or 285's.
|
Only thing I am worried about is being able to get 20k miles out of the rear set of RE11's. I drive my hoopty. I am at 21K now on my existing 285/35 SO4's. I make it to right at 25K miles for the rears.

Lol I got just over 12k on my S04s in 305 in the rear...boost!

I'd I get a set of the Nismo 19 x 9.5/10.5 rims, what tires would I run (factory)?

May want to be sure you have correct offset wheels for that base; Nismo & sports came in a couple different offsets....may not even an exact fit.

Also; same size tires in different brands are usually pretty close to same diameter-but the tread width can vary as much as 1" or more.....tirerack.com has a pretty good selection & spec sheet on what they sell.

I'm seeing +40 Front & +23 rear for the Nismo forged Rays 19x9.5/10.5 The sport 19x9/10 are +47F & +30R Our 18's are +43 & +15 18x8/9 So some peeps may think that because they have 19" factory wheels, that they are the same dimensions as the Nismo. You could say "well obviously"...but not all manufacturers are like that. BMW for example has wider fenders/different tracks between their sedans, coupes, wagons, M versions of the same series...lots of different, confusing combos there. Good thing our 370Zs are all the same in that respect, only the wheels change. |
:iagree:Just slap on the Neesmo and go!:driving:
|
I think I'd be happy with the sports and a 245/275 set, but at this wheel store, the Nismos are much cheaper.
