Default ******* offset problem *********HELP!!!

Hey guys

I really need help on this. I am trying to put my friends rims on my car and i need adaptors to put them on as the bolt pattern is nor the same, so I am ordering custom made adaptors and I can decide how thick they can be.

Rims are:
20/10 (+36 offset) rear
20/8.5 (+30 offset) front

adaptors are like spacers and the minimum thickness is 25 mm.
so with adaptors I guess the offset would be:
rear= 36 - 25 = +11
fronts= 30 - 25 = +6

I am totally lost with the offset and camber issue, Please help, if I can even install these rims on my car or not. do they fit on my car including adaptors? Do I need to do any extra work on the car itself.

Thanks in advance for all responses.

your math is right. I'm pretty sure they will fit ok in the front, might need a tiny bit of camber in the rear. Just make sure there is space in the back of the wheel so the studs can poke thru one you put the conversion spacers on. What wheels are they?

If what you're saying is the bolt pattern doesn't match ImE they are not a 5x114.3 5 lug bolt pattern then put your stock wheels back on and buy some wheels that are meant for the Z....

You do not want to deal with changing your hub bolt pattern to whatever the bolt pattern is on those wheels. Save yourself the headache. Get a set of wheeels with the correct bolt pattern and a solid offset you like out of the box.

Good luck

With a spacer the rears are fine. The fronts should be a 15mm spacer without having to do any camber adjustments.

Take note... We do tons of wheels a month for customers. If you are looking to add performance and style to your car. Please go buy the correct size and offsets from the start. Please do not use spacers to make the obviously wrong size wheels fit.

Proper widths for a 370z:
Front: *we do not have adjustable camber but these are close numbers to strive for*
9" +25~
9.5" +20~
10" +30~

Rear: *we have adjustable camber and all of these will fit*
10" -6~
10.5" +0~
11" +4~
11.5" +10~
12" +16~

All of these widths can be accomplished without modifications and the right offsets. I have posted some sample offsets that you can strive for and that will fit within our fenders.

Mike

Hey Mike, I think its even worse, wrong LUG BOLT pattern too!! So wrong offset, bolt pattern and a couple other issues... I'm thinking save the headache and order wheels that fit from the get go!

Yikes!

Thanks a lot for all the answers guys.
But the reasong i am trying to put these rims is that my friend is moving out of the country and he is selling his car and he is giving me his expensive forged rims for $500 because he still has his stocks.
So thats why i am willing to pay almost 500 dollor to order a costum made wheel adaptors to properly fit the wheels on my car, but my only problem is the offset that i still dont know much about it, so can i install them without doing any modification to the car? I can also deside on the thickness of the adaptor with minimum of 25 mm.

If they are a such a deal, you will have no problem selling them to get the right rims for your car. There is nothing worse than settling on a part because of price. You will have nothing but headaches. Good luck.

Ouch. I agree with the concensus on this one. Too many factors and fix actions can lead to possible catastrophic failure. You should take these guys' advice!

Sell the rims!!! They are TOOO WEAK for the 370z! your wheels will sit inside the fenders big time! A minimum of a 25mm spacer is RIDICULOUS!!! That is Beyond worse fitment! You can take our advice and look elsewhere or you can choose to ignore it and end up with threads like this:
I pointed and laughed. Then shook my head. Pics inside
