Hubcentric rings essentially fill the gap in the center borehole of the wheel to prevent vibrations from occurring.
Edit: Found this article Wheel Hub Centric Rings are designed to fill in the gap between the hub of the car and the center bore of the wheel. Most wheel manufacturers design their wheels with a centerbore large enough to fit on most cars. Therefore, since wheel manufactures make their center bore large enough to fit most cars, most wheel fitments have a gap between the hub and the centerbore. This gap usually doesn't allow for the wheel to fit hubcentric but rather lugcentric which causes vibration. Therefore, to fill the gap and ensure the fitment is hubcentric, hub rings are used. ![]() How Hub Centric Rings Work - JustForWheels.com Here is a spacer with the hubcentric spacer built in: ![]() Here is a lugcentric spacer (our OEM Sport Rays require the hubcentric variety):

Are these the volt on type, or the stud replacement type?

I have z1 20mms all around on by base sport. They come with the extended studs so that make sit trickier to install than the shorter ones.

Another question would be: If they are lugcentric, do they have optional hubcentric spacers available (like the Project Kics)?

What would be everything needed to do 20mm all around on the stock nismo wheels at stock height? I will be adding swift springs shortly after. Will a camber kit be needed with or without a drop if I go with spacers?
The reason I am asking, is casue i will need new tires soon and have decided to do it all at once. |

^ 15mm all around on the Nismo wheels is optimal. 20mm make them stick out past the fender and depending on how low you go you can also rub unless you have a lot of camber. See HATED1's pics, he's on 20mm. Too much IMHO, 15mm is max.
