I agree, if he would just make a way to contact him most of these issues wouldn't be here. That's the main thing that upsets me, I could deal with the delays up to a certain point but not being able to contact anyone is what really gets me.

Yeah I haven't gotten any responses either. It's always good to see how much a vendor actually cares about it's customers. Wether he's moving or not, there's no reason for him to just leave everyone in the dark. Very poor business standards in my opinion, but we all already know that.

When I bought 2 used OEM front shocks off of Rick (I think it was back in January), he said he was moving shops. I don't think he's been moving for 5 months now. Also, the shocks I bought from him were already blown. I never posted this because he seemed to be a legit vendor with great products... I've tried to bite my tongue for too long now... I'm tired of seeing his excuses. I understand he has a life outside of VIP, but if all this is overwhelming him, he needs to close up shop and move on. Work IS life.

Agreed, I would really like my wheels. I don't want to go through another 3 month wait. Unfortunatley it's looking like thats whats going to happen. I haven't been able to contact Rick for 2 weeks now. If it continues on through this week I'm just going to assume he ran away with my money and file a dispute to get my money back.

Either way he still has to provide them.

yeah he has to provide our wheels and whatever else people ordered. rick should not be taking anymore orders from new customers, if he cant even deliver product with his existing customers.

I was "so" close to pulling the trigger on a set of rims from VIP Status. Rick answered my PM's within minutes of asking questions...it was great to have the quick communication and it almost had me sold until I saw this thread, and I have read every response from every member in this thread.

its time AK stepped in and suspends VIP Status's privilege to sell here until they make good on "EVERY" outstanding issue they have with customers on this forum!

Well, I finally got a response via e-mail. I was told my forged centers will be here any day, along with everyones order. He will have a date on Tuesday he says. Well see how it goes. I just want my wheels.

Hoping to help you guys out here, because I can tell some of you aren't experienced in dealing with something like this:

FYI ... I'm an Insurance Fraud Investigator in PA and I can tell you that from my experience over the past 16 years in criminal / fraud investigations, this entire situation stinks. You folks need to organize and move forward to get these issues resolved asap, and you need some help (a CA attorney).

I personally spoke with him also about buying Venaci wheels and he was great to talk to .... promised a 8 - 10 wk. turnaround, etc. ... no problems. Never once mentioned any of the issues to me that I have discovered here. That's when I (fortuitously) stumbled across this thread.

Explain to me why he was getting right back to me via email within minutes / hours, and you guys haven't heard from him in weeks or months? I exchanged no less than 12 emails with him within a period of days right before I saw this thread. Include a phone call or two with that as well. At the same time, there were guys posting on this thread indicating they haven't heard from him in weeks despite contacting him regularly about their purchases. That is a problem. Even more so considering some of these orders are in the thousands of $.

Had I been one of you, I guarantee you I'd be in CA right now tracking him down with the assistance of either an attorney, or the police. You either need to get your money back ... or the products you purchased. Period. I would not let this stagnate any longer.

Okay, Rick finally got back to me this morning and gave me a pretty good deal...so hopefully he follows through with it. I will keep everyone updated. :tiphat:

He got back to me saying all his phone lines and internet will be up this week. He also told me our parts should start arriving this week. So, I'm going to give him this week, but come next week if I don't have any answers and still can't contact him I will be contacting a lawyer. I just broke my left hand yesterday so I'm a little limited right now as far as typing, I apologize if I get any updates and don't post them right away.
