I would really appreciate anybody's help with this. I think Jamaica helped me too once before getting Rick to reply to my PM's (thanks if you did). All I want to know is the same thing everyone else does. Where are my wheels (really) and when will I get them. That's all. No one wants another excuse, just factual information. If I can't get that from Rick, I'll gladly accept some help from you if you can.

13th May 2011 (Rick went missing with no info or anything until a member from my350 informed that he met Rick & told that my stuff will be shipped by the 24th May 2011)
24th May 2011 <----- NOTHING, Nada, Zero, Fake Promises AGAIN for the zillionth time

25th May only then he replied saying it'll be shipped on 27th May 2011


27th May 2011 <------ Same situation... No results

28th May 2011 <------ Only then Rick replied telling about the problem with the shipment and promised will be delivered today.... So far got nothing from Rick.....

You ask me to be patient... but for how long??? ive been waiting patiently for 10 months now & ive been cool for the past few months with him.. & Since the Wheels are with him as he claimed from the 29th APRIL 2011, now the delay is not due to the development of the so called "Custom Wheels" but to what? u answer me please... & let me know why is Rick making these kinds of fake promises? Is it that some vendors do that so customers wont run away sooner?? Thanks...

The so Called "Custom Wheels" were completed back in December 2010 as claimed by Rick & claimed that it'll arrive in the US early-mid January 2011 .... But nooo it arrived in April 2011 :eek: .... Please Explain....

This might sound like a stupid question, but why are the wheels having to come to the US to go to you? Seems like going around your azz to get to your elbow, when they could just as easily ship them directly to you...??

Thats what i ask Rick back in September 2010.... To Ship it directly from Japan to Brunei... but i dont think he's reading my words.... let me try to find the PMs ive sent to him back then to confirm...

so if we ship the wheels from japan.
the tires will be coming from the U.S
then they will not be mounted and balance ok

Is it because they are made by Work in Japan, Shipped to US for them to stick a Venaci centercap on, and then sent back out to you?

I think this thread has offered great insight and warning into why people should not purchase from this vendor.

Why should a customer have to go through someone else to get status update on their purchase?? I'm sorry but that is just plain stupid, especially for the amount of money people have paid for their wheels and other gear.

It's obvious that vip-status is very disorganized and continues to give out false promises. Which to me, just sounds like fraud and shaddy @ss business.

Guys... please dont sway away and stick to the topic please... I thought AK made it clear last time he visited this thread...

BTW got updates from Rick few hours back & got a copy of the airway bill from the West Consolidators Inc.. Lets just hope the items will arrive before 15th June 2011 and all items are in a good condition without any damage or missing parts... So i can clear the dispute. If not its the other way round...

The vendor your talking about wasn't trying to help though. He was stating that our issues were amusing to him. He also doesn't know the facts of the situation. If you go back to the first page he states that I have a lip kit, wing, exhaust, and wheels on order and that I'm demanding for it to be shipped without me paying for it. All I ordered was wheels, and I'm more then willing to pay for the rest of the wheels before being shipped. He was trying to make me look like I was making all sorts of ridiculous demands when all I want is for someone to answer the phone or an e-mail. When you just blurt in like he did and through out false information then yeah, you should stay out of the thread.

I sent him an e-mail yesterday and today along with trying to call here and there and haven't gotten any response either. I am going on about two weeks now since he said he would have an update for me and never got back to me.

The threat of calling one's credit card company seems to be the only way sh!t gets done and if I have to play it like that then fine!!!

It does help the situation.. Finally im getting something solid from Rick.... Finally....

I've been thru dat bro... expecting updates when ur supposed to receive one as promised by the vendor... its quite annoying when u dont receive one... & when u receive it, its one of those fake promises again and again.... ive been very patient with it, but to some limit the situation forced me to make such actions... and finally gets some results... U shud do what you have to do if things dont work out between u and the vendor... afterall you're the customer and you have the right to do so... Good Luck Bro... I also got an email from Rick yesterday he fwd the ETA from MackIndustries, I guess thats the company he uses to import the wheels. Again, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I hope everything works out for everybody who has been waiting patiently for many months.

Dang...you're still waiting on your wheels bro? I really wish I could have found you the wheels you wanted from someone else. That's a long time to wait for no delivery. I hope you and the other guys here something soon. It doesn't seem like there are legitimate answers to people's questions and concerns. Truthfully, I'm a little surprised about the way this has transpired.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you get some new wheels. The service from Ravspec was great.

When I joined the forum everyone made him seem like one of the best vendors on here. The service or lack of that you and the other guys have received is BEYOND EMBARRASSING. Fortunately, I did some research and found someone who could get me what I wanted. Unfortunately, he's the only one I know who makes the wheels that you ordered. Now, I also question whether or not the pictures of the wheels you received were actually yours. I hope the reason this is happening is because they're going out of business and not telling anyone. I can't honestly see how he plans to continues to sell wheels while losing an entire community (Z-Cars) of car enthusiast.

Yeah, I don't doubt that Rick is a nice guy but you just can't handle business this way. I was looking forward to doing business with him cause of all the positive things that were said about him on the forum. Unfortunately, this is the way it turned out, he could of easily avoided this fiasco. I know he could probably care less about this thread and what's been said in it, and it's probably not going to accomplish getting my wheels any sooner or VIP changing their ways. Hopefully it helps potential buyers know what they may be going through though when dealing with this company.

I do not have to go yet on the rims waits.
I have ordered the rims from another trader.

Why doesn't everyone get there money back and seek other wheels? You guys sure can handle stress better than I can.

Sadly I really want the Venaci's I ordered. However the Work Gnosis G'S-2's are an exact match to what I ordered. I was told you can't get custom offsets on those.

nah, all Gnosis series including the GS2 can be any custom offset within a set range like -40 to +60 ...

yeah i really want my venaci's too. plus he gave me a huge discount with the limited funds i have. never trusted vendors(sponsored or private),who are not local, online from all the bad stories i hear esp with this amount of money for wheels. seems like i cant trust a local vendor either and ive known rick for a few years. all the false dates. just sad.

I got my wheels from Ravspec. Mark was great. Knowledge of the right offset, service, etc. You will have your wheels in no more than 12 weeks...Got mine in about 10 weeks.
