Okay, looks like the only 255 size available for the RE-11's is 255/35R18. Will that size work good on the stock 18's all around?

I am using RE11's 245/45/18 and 275/40/18

the ratio is almost 100% with stock tyres, speedo etc same as stock

no bulge or anything

i personally wouldnt, the tire is too small. you will end up spinning a lot of tires and probably result in more gear changes. i have 285 30 18 on my track wheels, way too small

Well, if 255 is too small for the back, and I shouldn't stagger, it looks like I'm ******? Not sure what to do, but I certainly can't afford to go and buy different wheels.

stay with 245 all around if you have to. i used to run 235 all around on my 350, it worked fine. stay away from stagger if you can drive, stagger kills the balance on this car. i just paid 1200 bucks to unstagger my setup.

think of it this way, your tire bill will be half as much as mine.

i dont know what yourr budget is, but you should be able to get some 18x9.5 for 500 and sell your oem set for like 400

i just did some math. a set of re11 in 265 fon your size is roughly 1200 bux. you can actually buy a set of 18x9.5 konig for 650 and get a set of kumho xs in 275 35 18 for 800. you might want to do that instead. i am stuck with the stock 19s because of class issue

Ugh, I hate the idea of buying ANOTHER set of wheels, since I already bought the base 18's off of someone else.

How do the Kumho XS tires compare to RE-11's?

Also where are you seeing those prices? Prices were substantially higher at TireRack ($888 for the tires before shipping).

F... I really don't want to buy another set of wheels.

you can probably break even selling the 18s you got. as someone who has 4 set of rims for a prius and 3 sets for the z, i know how you feel about rims and tires

www.tires.com has better pricing than tirerack, get the konigs mounted with kumho xs, it will be cheaper. xs is roughly the same as the re11 at the track, but they are noisier and they are slower in the rain. i went with re11 as 285 35 19 is cheaper with the bridgestone. 275 35 18 is a different story.

i will sell you my 5zigens with race rubber for $950 hehe

I have another idea, but it might be a long shot... I'm going to see if anyone selling their base 18's would be interested in splitting them up and I'd buy the rears. Then I should be able to run 275/35/18 all around (or maybe 285). I'm doubting I'll find any takers for my offer though.

You might have better luck buying a full set, since they go pretty cheap these days.

The offset would be pretty aggressive up front though.

the cost of that will probably equal to buying a set of konigs, plus not sure how the offsets will fit as nissan runs some annoying offset. i tried to cheap out and run 35 offset all around, the rear is tucked in pretty good ajd the front is probably further out than what i would like
