Many people have been able to successfully run 245s on the front and 275s on the rear on the base 18s and have nothing but good things to say about it. The only issue is that the sidewalls will bulge a bit but nothing extreme.

As for tire choice, there are a number of threads with real world reviews.

No problem, depending on your budget the two best choices of tires are first the Bridgestone RE11s and second Hankook Ventus V12s which are significantly cheaper but not as good (still way better than stock though).

I have 245 front & 275 rear on the stock 18's and they look great. I decided to stick with the Yoko Advan Sports, but there are plenty of options with 18" wheels. It all depends on how much you want to spend and the type of driving you do. I don't have pictures, but I'll try to take some later if you'd like.

No drop... I'm hitting everything as it is. Any lower and I won't be able to get the car into the driveway. I found a couple of older pics. I'll try to take better one's tomorrow.

I saw 245/275 on the stock 18s today. With the BFG KDWs, there was very very little bulge, if any. I think they look perfect for the stock 18s

I don't think i would agree with the v12s being way better than stock,'especially if we are talking 18s with the advan sports as stock tires...

yea i think they might just be better for the money and treadlife, not really performance.

Yep, which is fine, but not a tire that I would declare to be "better".

They're a totally different value proposition.

Of all the tire reviews and tests I have seen, the Advan Sports fall behind the V12s in terms of numbers. Besides, I was also comparing stock Advans (225/245) to V12s/RE11s at 245/275 sizes which would be a big improvement over stock.

I could have misread the reviews though.

Stock tires always get a bad rep for some reason, but they are great tires. A big adavantage for the V12's is its price.
