I'd be curious to see those reviews. I haven't seen many that pit them together because of the price difference. The soft sidewalls are really are killer on the v12's in my mind.

Good point, I would not choose them personally for that reason. I would only throw on some RE-11s, best of everything in my opinion short of R compound tires.

I upgraded my 18's to Enkei RP03 (18 X 8.5, 35 offset/18 X 10, 15 offset) and I kept the Advans on the front and added an Adva 275 in the rear. I tried the V12's and didn't like them.

To me, they didn't have anywhere near as good as grip as the Yokahoma's (by the way, I don't drive my car hard but maybe once a month). I've got 8/11's left on the front tire with 13K miles and the rear has 9/11's with 4.5K miles.

Just my preference but I think the Advans are much better than the V12's. They stick like glue in the rain.
