The SLs have machined lip and center area, with painted spokes... and then the painted spokes and machined lip have a tinted clear coat on them.

They are very... iridescent (if thats the proper word), the lighting has a strong impact on their shade/color. with direct lighting they can almost get to silver, and indirect light they can look just about black.... and of course anything in between. some angles reflects very light color back at me with the surfaces facing me, and the surfacing facing other directions fade to almost black. its a lot more indepth in person than it is in photos.

the last week i have been going back and forth on the idea of having a matte clear coat sprayed over might before putting the tires on.

The lip really does not stand out as much as it does in the pics, these rims are tits looking in person.

I wouldn't call that chrome by no means.

I can't wait to get these for my 40th! Perfect color combo I think! It looks amazing on your Pearl White! By the way, this is off-topic question, but how much did you lower your car? I dropped mine less than an inch, I was wondering if I need Camber Arm kits. Lou@Amplified said I don't need one because it's not more than an inch, but I want to make sure.

A rear camber kit would help even out the rims & put less wear on the tires. It's not a must buy, but if you want your car perfect I'd get it. This car comes with negative camber already, which helps when taking corners.

Thanks man for the reply.

I been wanting to get it just for safety

I only need ones for rear right?

Do I need to get alignment done again if I buy the rear camber arm kit?

You don't need an alignment as they are not raising or lowering the car, only the rear kit is needed.

Not necessarily true. On my car, after lowering 3/4" front and 1/2" rear, along with using 15mm front/20mm rear spacers, my pre-alignment camber was -1.0/-1.6 front, and -2.9/-3.0 rear. That's right, the front corners were way off side-to-side and there's a bit too much neg camber in the back. Without a rear camber kit, they were only able to bring back my camber to -2.4 (still a bit much for me). The front camber cannot be corrected with the stock upper mount. So, I ended up having to buy camber kits front and rear. So, the moral of the story, have your camber checked, and if it's really far off in the front, you'll need a front camber kit to correct it...if you want it to be perfect.

Thanks man, I remember you posting this similar stuff when I asked about whether to get springs or coilovers.
