TPMS in Aftermarket wheels

brining up an older thread... i am planning on getting some SSR's wrapped with new tires but i wont be running TPMS. 2 questions:

1) is the TPMS light on the large screen or is there a small icon in the cluster?
- i like to show ambient temp all the time on the large screen and would be clumsy to scroll screen each time.

2) does the car make audible warniing each time i start the car without TPMS telling me there's something wrong with the TPMS?

1.) It is just a small icon on the side of the large screen. It flashes on start up and eventually it's just a steady light. No warning is flashed on the large screen.

i can live with this.

my dd has TPMS icon on all the time.
