The "Will it fit?" thread

Looking to get some track wheels (square setup) after the holiday. Thinking of RPF01's in 18x10 +38, I know that is kind of a high offset and wanted to make sure it should clear. I'd rather not run spacers. Obviously tire choice will also matter, but these should clear the strut/calipers.

your rears will be super sunk in and a bit on the front. 10mm on front and a 25 or 30 in the rear will flush it up. but you will for sure need on the rears or it will look really weird/bad.

That's what I figured. Not really concerned about looks but I don't want a sunken battleship. RPF1s are just so sweet for the price and are only offered in those offsets.

Maybe I'd be better going x10.5 +15. Anyone know if these clear the Akebonos?

If you're going square, they will clear the Akebono's but you are gonna have to run some extreme camber or roll your front fenders to make them fit. We had a guy that ran that square set up in texas and he rolled the front a LOT just to make it fit. You're better off running the spacers on the rear and being done with it.

So what you're saying is with the 18x10 I wouldnt need to roll the fenders (depending on tire). And to just run spacers in the rear. Makes sense. I've rolled fenders before but dont want to do it on my Z.

bingo. even a 275 sqaure set up you wouldnt need to roll with a +38 offset
