So i need some help. I have h&r race springs and the sport rims. Will a 275/35/19 fit on the front and a 305/30/19 fit on the rear? Im sure the 305 will not cause any issues but i question a 275 up front.

Your set up with re11s are 265/35 305/30 right?
so your front tires are taller than your rears? how does that look? can you show pic please? and is there any rubbing?

well the stock wheels aren't flush to start if that was your question. spacers fix that but I don't run them. that's on your wheels specs and setup

the tires sit very nice on the wheel. no bulge, bind, or anything wrong. looks beautiful like that's what it should have had from factory.

performance is great. the grip is tremendous and after having PSS's prior I didn't think it could get better but the RE11's are just amazing. now my PSS's were OEM 245/275 so maybe I will try them in the 265/305 setup this spring. but honestly I loved the RE11's in this sizing so much i'll buy the same again I think.

no they are identically the same diameter. the second number in the tire size is the sidewall ratio. so the wider it is the number can be lower and still the same as a smaller tire with a higher ratio number. they are 26.3" diameter front and back. match perfectly.

the look is fan-fuckin-tastic. my PSS's in OEM 245/275 set-up looked too skinny for the wheels and the way the shoulder rounds on those tires just didn't look right in those sizes. these wider RE-11s look awesome.

there is zero rubbing. none whatsoever.

Alright... I want to vet this setup with the gurus. I've done some reading and spent a lot of time with offset and tire calculators. Just want to make sure I am not missing anything before I pull the trigger.

My baseline in terms of looks are the sports rays w/ 15mm FR and 20mm RR spacers. In other words I want to be flush, i.e. put a straight edge on the wheel/tire and have it line right up with the fender. Seems like the 15/20mm spacer setup accomplishes just that (from photos on this forum). So that effectively gives:
FR = 19x9 +32
RR = 19x10 +10

Vossen VFS1 Wheels:
FR = 20x10 +45
RR = 20x10.5 +15 (+25 w/ a 10mm spacer in the case of the VFS1)

Using the stock 245/275 tire config, and with an effort come close to the stock wheel diameters/circumferences. Also taking in to account the fact that I prefer the tire to portrude/extend slightly beyond the wheel. I came up with the following.

Michelin Super Sport Tires:
FR = 285r30-20
RR = 305r30-20

That's spot on in the front, and adds .6" to the rear for the diameter.

As far as suspension I am ordering the KW v3 Coilovers and camber arms/links/etc this week, so I guess I can adjust the height to suit the tire/wheel combo.

My questions:
-Will it fit without rubbing, on relatively sane/stock camber settings?
-How will it handle in terms of steering weight, understeer, etc for daily/street use?
-Would this be a completely stupid setup to put on a track/autox course? I understand the concept of unsprung weight (mostly haha) and plan to use my stock wheels in a similar configuration 275/305 in the future, but the itch to hit an event might happen before I go in for a second set of tires.

Just as an fyi... Any time you add a spacer you must subtract that number from your offset rating. For example you posted a 10.5 +15 with a 10mm spacer it becomes a +5 offset.

I would run a 275 in the front unless your willing to run a race style suspension alignment... A 285 is going to want to wander and will be tougher to turn in. Again this all can be negated with a more aggressive alignment.

Thanks for the reply. I am with you on the offset calculation. It's my annotation that was probably confusing. The wheel comes in a +25 and I would add a 10mm (maybe 15mm) spacer to bring it to +15 (+10 if I go 15mm).

What would have to change to make the 285 turn in and not wander? Some increased caster and toe out in the front seem like the theoretical answer. Is that what you are thinking here? I would be open to any option that didn't leave me replacing a tire that has 8/32 on the outer edge and 0/32 on the inner. In other words a bit of inner wear would be acceptable in my book.

Note: I am stuck on 285 due to the Michelin sizes. The next option down is the 265/35. Would that be better or would it create an imbalance in the car's handling; primarily thinking about understeer.

I have base with 18 inch wheels. I called discount tires and the guy said I need to keep the standard 225 on the front because of clearance, but If I wanted I could put the larger 285 on the back. Can that be done or should I just go with the matching set of 225 front and 245 on the back? Can anyone provide me with good info. Pilot super sport tires.

Not intentionally, I just needed an answer as quickly as possible. And I'm still unsure as to which set up would be best.

Please advise

Can someone answer this for me? I've got the 19" Rays ( stock tires on all corners ) with 20mm spacers on all 4 corners. The front tires are worn down pretty good, & I wanted to move the entire back setup ( wheels & tires ) to the front & then put 305's on the back. ( the back wheels & tires @ 275/35/R19 would become the fronts ), and I would put new tires on the front wheels & mount them on back. Is this possible? Can I still use the spacers? Just don't want to waste the newer 275s that are on the back, I'd rather move em to the front & go wide in the back. Any help is appreciated. Thx ( or just keep the wheels where they are and just swap tires ( back to front, and put 305s on the back wheels )

The offsets and widths are different between the front and rear wheels. The best advice would be to leave the wheels where they are and just move the tires around (rear tires to the front and buy new rears).

Have a question. Looking at either a 19x10.5 +22 or a 18x10.5 +12 up front. I know a 285/35/18 will fit up front on the 18. Will a 285/35/19 fit on the 19 without major modifications? Stock ride height and looking for new wheels for double duty track and street.

Not here completely clueless, but this is the first time im trying to get a pretty aggressive setup happening.
Looking at getting the work CR 2P. After much reading and adjustments and measuring, ive come to a conclusion of:
19/10/+15 fronts R disk
19/11/0 rear A disk
Car will be lowered on ohlin road and track coils by the time they are put on, along with a camber kit for front and rear which i am undecided on, but heard spc was pretty good. Anyone WITH EXPERIENCE let me know if ill have any issues on the front.
For the tires, im fitting r88r 275 fronts and 305 rears. ty

Need help guys. Looking to do a pretty meaty setup. Here are specs I'm looking at:

On H&R springs with front and rear camber arms.
Wheels I'm looking to do:
-19x10 +30 front 275/35/19
-19x12 +28 rear 325/30/19

I'm wanting a pretty flush setup with close to stock camber, should I be ok with these wheel specs?
