so i'm gonna rephrase my original question.

do 265/305 combo in michelin PSS's work on sport rays with stock suspension and no spacers.

seems like everyone but me is running spacers.

Yes it will work. Because of the offsets of the wheels, they will look sunkin in without spacers.

well yes i realize that already since stock isnt flush lol

nor do i want flush but more or less will the tires fit well on sport wheels and not rub without spacers is my question.

was gonna go with 265/295 but the ratios for those seem to be a bit high over stock.

also im overthinking this which is rare for me since usually i'm a pull the trigger then see what happens kinda guy.

Thank you for getting back to me. That seems to be the consensus on here after I researched a bit more.

I saw your picture of your rear tire, do you have a spacer installed on that?

Yea 15mm front and rear. Front needs a 20mm in my opinion.

Yes yes and yes...
Spacers are just to get the flush with the fender look. They have nothing to do with tire width, normally, on the rear

yea local shop the guy went full retard when i was trying to explain to him that there are 2 versions of the 265/35/19 in PSS's a mercedes one and a porsche one. and the porsche ones are oddle 1/2" wider than the merc ones. blew his mind.

also i think he comepletly screwed up the quote since when he showed me he had the rears listed for $560......each. TR is 330. wtf? lol

i think i melted his brain with 2 diff fronts being available.

RoadsterST 04-11-2014 08:21 AM

Keep in mind you may wind up having to do a 15 or 20 on the front, just for rubbing issues at full turn lock

that was part of why i asked lol

i think 265's up front should be ok without spacers. then again this isnt my realm of knowledge. obviously why i'm in here scrambling like a noob.

Youll be fine without spacers. People use them for looks more than for clearance.

good to know. knew the looks part but never was sure if it was a fitment help as well. not really looking for the herrafrush look personally lol

LostSol 04-11-2014 09:19 AM

Its not so much herrafrush with the OEM wheels and mild spacers, just filling the wheel well gap. I had them on before I got real wheels and I would highly recommend them. Cheap mod for much better looks.

i know i just always like making a stance joke when i can lol take no offense to that one.

also i think i just blew this guy on tireracks mind lol

little help chat window came up while i was checkign tires and i said "well why not" told him i was going 265/305 on oem 370 sport wheels......he responded with "well thats a bit aggressive. also much more than we could ever advise" :stirthepot:

What's the best bet:

19x9.5 +12

19x11+15 (with 5mm spacer)

Swifts
SPL front and rear

Wondering tire sizes and camber to run :tiphat:
