The price isn't too bad if you add in the cost of damaging a hub or bearing beating a stud out. If two people went in on one the price would be half. Just need to find a local or be willing to ship it to the second person.
There are a few tools which circulate on the NSX board which are not ones you would would want to own. I used the ABS bleeder for my NSX. You put your name on the list and the members just keep forwarding the tool. Not a bad deal until someone gets the tool and runs into issues getting their job done.

^ I was kinda tossing the same idea around in my head. We could start a 'tool co-op'.

Anyone know of a So-Cal shop that would do the install on the spacers?
Someone that has the proper stud press tool and not a hammer.

My buddy also gets rough w/ it; he uses a hammer and forces the studs out. He said he's performed 50+ stud jobs and has never encounted issues. He does have a tool (more like a machine) that he uses but the labor costs render it too costly; he takes off the whole break assembly. He doesn't use anything like the e-bay tool mentioned above. |

No, I'm installing some Eibach springs today, wanted to check clearance first, not sure if I'm going 15mm or 10mm in the front, will probably do those next week.
