I was sitting in econ lecture today playing with the lug nuts I had left over after installing the OEM wheel locks. I was trying to figure out the same exact thing. How DOES that washer fit onto the lug nut?

I paid about 120 shipped for some custom gold powder coated mc-gard spline drive lugs... 300 is insane...

yeah thats the price we're going to beat. but when it comes down to it, thats about the average price for true titanium lug nuts, not aluminum with 'titanium finish' or anything like that. but we'll definitely be beating that price

I'd be willing to pay $300 for a set of washer style mag lugz that will fit my 19" sports Rays. Though I would prefer Black, I guess I could go with another color depending on what was offered.

the washer could be heated during manufacturing and slid over a ridge in the bolt. or a manderal press expands the threads from the inside of the un formed bolt, traping the washer in a cavity. i will bring one up to work and have the shop cut it in half to find out.

[QUOTE=exhaust tips are next after the lug nuts are finalized and finished

i am, but sales never sleeps[/QUOTE]

I was actually referring to a black tip with a burnt Ti edge, but it doesn't sound like you have a good method of applying black.

Also I preffered the lugs with the capped head vs. open end. I know open is probably lighter but I like the finished off look. When you are talking Ti i doubt the difference is much anyway. Not a deal breaker though.
