Spare tire for Z question

Don't use that tire fixaflat crap. You'll mess up your TPMS system. Instead, get a BlackJack plug kit. I plugged one of my rear tires after I snagged a nail

EXCELLENT POINT spearfish25!! I did think of that, but at this time, my quest to find a suitable spare tire has been center stage. I will buy a plug kit the next time I'm near a parts store, BlackJack you say? I'll look into it.

Only in my opinion, and with Kudo's to spearfish25, to go out and buy a good plug/repair kit, and store it in our Z's, should be almost a mandate. That fixaflat stuff would be some kind of last ditch effort at best.

I was told our tires are "run flats." It's not worth risking damage to the wheel to drive on a flat tire, and if it were a rear tire, it probably wouldn't do our limited slip's, both "versions", any good either.

Thanks spearfish25
