I don't see any spam but wow, way to resurrect a thread over a year old! Did we have a rule about zombie threads?

Im not seeing the BFG KDWs in a 19" tire size on tirerack.com. Do these even come in 19s ?

Yes they do come in 19's. I've owned several. I think I noticed the other day they don't show but one size for some reason. Call them and see. They were good tires. But after they lose a 50% of tread they tend to be a loud tire. But they doesn't bother me to much as others. But they were a great tire. I'm ordering some Bridgestone RE-11 tomorrow.

Found it, click on sizes and prices. There two types of KDW. These are the ones everyone talks about. BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2

Default Tires Replaced

Yesterday I replaced my stock tires at 8,000 miles. They had lost their grip. The compound must have gone south because I could easily spin the rear wheels. While fun watching the traction control kick in and feeling the grip come back I did not trust the cornering grip so I did some research and read a lot of tire reviews from this site and others. These were my choice.

Hankook Ventus are great tires at a very good price.

RE11's if you have the money. Great high performance tires, and excellent traction in rain.

Customer Tire Reviews - Discount Tire

Hankook Ventus are great tires at a very good price.
Your tires lost their grip because they are Summer tires and you are driving them in Winter. You need to be on all seasons or winter tires in the Winter. FWIW the grip would have come back in the spring. The Ventus will have slightly more Winter grip as the compound is slightly more durable, but it is still a Summer tire, not ideally suited to Winter conditions.

People complain about that tire but it isn't that bad. Just doesn't compare to the other tires in the class like the RE-11.
