Keep in mind that the KDs and KDWs are supposed to be quite loud even when there is plenty of tread left.

^^^ They are. I had a set on my 97 Formula Firebird. I figure if you can hear your tires over an LT1, you're tires are loud.

I'm about at the point I need to replace the tires on my '10 370. Stock 19" Rays. I've had nothing but great experiences with Nitto 555's (solid handling and great treadwear, and a great value for the money), but it appears Nitto doesn't make 555's in both front and rear sizes. Anyone have other opinions for tires of similar quality, treadlife, and bang for buck?

Does anybody know anything about the Hankooks. I don't track my car, I may do a few mtn. drives but that's all. I want a good tire that won't cost a bundle. Gotta wife back in school getting her masters and can't spend to much was thinking around 1000. Thanks in advance.

I've been very happy with my Hankook Ventus V12 Evos. Overall good compromise between price, performance and tread wear.

I don't see any spam but wow, way to resurrect a thread over a year old! Did we have a rule about zombie threads?
