but i still have that problem. and its not just when the car is cold. when i turn the steering wheel 3/4 to full turn, I feel it happening.
I really hope its just the tires but the way it feels i don't really think thats the mainm problem.
I'm going to have it check out at the dealer ship on tuesday so I'll let you guys know what they say.
It's just cold wide summer tires. And by cold, I mean anything below about 70 degrees. It gets even worse with wide race rubber.

You can rid yourself of the issue by going to all season tires, but then you lose the tenacious summer grip. The other alternative is to get a summer set and a winter set as many people have done.

Yeah, I'm actually considering that. Or spend some more $$ and get a new set of wheels and tires for the summer and keep the Rays and rap them with some Blizzaks for the winter. Maybe I don't need the Blizzaks though. I'm not looking for an excuse to drive in the snow with the Z. So perhaps something along the lines of what you said, "all season tires".

If you are going to just drive the car on the nice winter days and there is absolutely zero chance that you will encounter ice, go with the all seasons for the winter weather. If you might encounter ice or light snow then go with Blizzak's or X-Ice.
