Default New tire break-in period

Just had a new set of Michelin Pilot S4's installed and was wondering how long y'all wait to go full tilt? Pulling out of the tire place I gave it maybe 60-70% throttle in 1st and they broke loose pretty easily which I expected. Can't wait to put these tires through their paces

Depends on how you drive them. Could take a few minutes of hard driving on a closed course or a hundred highway miles.

A few heat cycles should do it. Driving in stop and go traffic probably won't get 'em fully up to temp.

On motorcycles I usually took it easy the first 100-200 miles and slowly increased lean angle over that time. No lean angles with car tires though.

As soon as you wear the sealer off of them. They are ready to go.
