tpms question

Have a new 2018 base model that I will be putting custom wheels on. I want to keep stock wheels and tires intact so where do I get a set of quality tpms sensors that will work with the new Z and also be reasonably priced?

Nissan changes the TPMS sensor almost every model year so they are typically not compatible from year to year. Since you have a 2018 there may not be a lot of information for you, and you might need to research part numbers yourself to determine which TPMS sensors will work with your car.

There's also probably not much chance of picking up a used set of sensors since your vehicle is so new. You might be biting the bullet and paying a dealer price for them (not cheap). I'd keep an eye out on eBay or see if you can't find a dealer that has reasonable online prices.

How many sets of TPMS can the 370 hold? I know I had my factory TPMS cloned with programmable ones. My buddy did it at his tire shop. He read each TPMS sensor (on the car) programmed the new ones, then I brought him up my winter wheels and tires. This way the car has no idea there is a different wheel on the car. They aren't factory, but its been two seasons so far, no issues.

thanks guys, think I might give tire rack a try as they list sensors for the 2018 Z at $60 each. I have not checked the stealership as I'm sure the cost would bring a tear to my eye

The place that I bought my rims and tires from installed the proper TPMS as part of the package.

If you deal with getyourwheels, I am sure they will do the same.
