New Tire Help

Both tires are very similar in specs. and performance. The two biggest pluses for the PS4S, IMHO; they are Michelins and are made in the USA. The Conti's are made

Getting close to buying the new tires, and I need a thought on this sizing. I can still get the original Pilot Super Sport in my area. Knowing the run bigger than my current DWs -- how would this sizing work:

Front on 8.5 wheel
245/35/19

Rear on 10.5 wheel
295/30/19

Figure if I can save a fews buck on the outgoing ones, the PSS will be superior to the DWs I have now...

Appreciate it much. Wanted to double check, but figured it would be ok.

It's funny looking at the specs of these versus the DWs on now (255f/305r) -- the PSS 245/295 is a wider tire than the DW per the TireRack specs...

Just wanted to update here -- after going to Discount Tire they didn't have any more of the older super sports in my sizing -- so I went with the new Conti Extreme Contact Sports.

Amazingly my old Conti DWs were put on the car with 8.8k miles, and last until 34.7k. I was pretty impressed with that for performance tires. Rears were gone, but the fronts still had plenty of life left in them.

That being said these new Conti Extreme Contact Sports so far feel like a HUGE step up from the DWs to me. Particularly in cornering ability & feedback -- much less mushy. So far I only have a couple hundred miles on them, but will report back once I have some more time with them.
