Default Made an idiot move and chipped my wheel. Need some advice

So I was driving into my office parking lot this morning and made too sharp of a right and chipped my rear right wheel on the curb. I hit it pretty hard and there's a big chip missing. Anyone know if this will affect the wheel other than cosmetically? Pics attached. Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear about that.

But it looks to be cosmetic.

The wheel by the pics looks like it can be repaired.

I would just make sure to keep an eye on the tire pressure.

You might want to take a look at this place. There was a post here that someone got their wheel repaired from them & it looked great. I'll try to find the post.

Here's the link to the other post I curbed my wheel... and had it fixed. :-)

Man, that hurt your feelings more than anything. Get it fixed as stated above. No harm, no foul.

I feel your pain. A similar thing happened to me a couple of years back. Curbed the passenger-side rear wheel that caused some minor rash. Purely cosmetic. Happens to many of us. I didn't get it fixed because it was minor.

You can sand it down nicely until you get it repaired. I did the same thing on my Corvette a few years back. Pissed me off every time a looked at it.

Call On Site Wheels in Westminster, CA (714) 757-4973. It is a decent chunk. They might say something about it being too close to the edge but who knows. Not where the tire sits anyways.

I can say alloy Wheel repair is amazing. I work at a dealership and they set up shop in a truck here 4 out of 5 days of the week. Had them repair all 4 of my stock 370 wheels from a previous owner and they look brand new. These guys are really good.
