I'd never permanently change the color of OEM wheels. Ruins any potential resale value. Not to mention I've always been leery of powdercoating a forged wheel, after having a wheel crack on me in 2005.
Autoflex is peelable, and is durable, able to be glossy etc. Everyone just knows the name "plastidip" from 5 years ago, but things have changed a lot. See below.

That red on the nismo wheels is the color I'd be looking for, not bright "fire engine" red. A darker shade of red.
