Nitto NT05 Tread life????

Looking to put some Nitto NT05'S on. I drive street with raging outburst of extreme use . What would the tread life be with a full set of Nitto NT05's?

Not long at all. They only start at 7/32 of tread, instead of the normal 9/32 or 10/32. They are also very sticky which means the tread will where away quickly.

Would the INVO be the better choice?

I had the same tires which I just sold on this thread. Anyway, the tires only had about 7500 miles. Look at the pics in the thread. Tread is pretty low. About 25% remaining. Remember only 7500 miles on them. I don't drive VERY aggressively so the pics should give you insight on what to expect. Good luck!

I realize this is an old tread, but before you sold the NT05 and stock wheels, what was your impression? How did the nitto's compare with the OEM Bridgestone? After 7500 miles the tread looks pretty good. I am looking for a very aggressive street tire that I can get at least 20,000 miles out of. I have 13,500 on my OEM Bridgestone Potenza’s it looks like I can easily get 20,000 more miles out of them and I am not easy on these tires but I do a lot of highway driving.

If you are a more conservative driver, I would recommend the Toyo T1R. I had a set of these on my S2000 and for the first set, I got about 21,000 miles out of them. For the second set I was shredding through the GA streets and so far they have endured 17,000 miles and will probably need to be changed in pretty soon.

Just my .02.

They have a lot more road noise then the stockers. But I love mine.
