Hey man if you want to see what some flat black look like against or even mounted on your ride feel free to swing by, I'm in Lehi. My winter set is in my garage (pic in my album and journal thread).
They're not the wheels you're thinking about of course but may help you decide for/against the finish. FWIW I voted glossy - on a MB I think that would look sick.
