Would be good for someone wanting fat front tires to go along with 305s!

Oh hotrodz I got the same meth kit that ss_firehawk has if you are interested. Complete aquamist kit, custome tank in the back with two extra spray nozzle so u can have 6 for direct port meth injection and two prior the maf sensors to let the computer know colder air is coming in. I only have a few hundred miles on it mostly dyno miles. Waiting for seb@specialty to box it all up and ship it to me. Might be something to use to keep the car cool in hot summers here. I was gonna sell it to mr.squeeze but he has the exact kit still in the box himself lol

Super Werty 05-07-2014 05:41 PM

meth before the MAF sensors? you wont throw a code doing that?

Blow dryer probably isn't heating it enough. I have a heat gun if you want to borrow it.

If you do dip your badges, buy a can of glossifier and finish them off with that

I'll give that a shot tomorrow. I woke up too late today to even begin trying anything (who the hell sleeps until noon? :icon17: )

If this works, I won't get new badging, but I really do want to dip the front and rear hamburgers and door handles.

Are the hamburgers difficult to remove? I haven't searched any on here yet... that'll give me something to do this evening. :icon17:

It's a super fine mist so it didn't get soaked by any means. I had a nozzle spraying just post IC and then it travelled a short distance maybe of 2 1/2ft b4 it hit the maf. It didn't bother the mafs at all. If u are spraying to heavy or to close it can bother the maf for sure. It worked well for what little I didn't use it. I was able to gain 100whp on a 50/50 blend of boost juice and 91oct

I'm a happy man, garage cleaned out enough to fit my car and Wifeys car. It's been without a garage for 3 weeks. It's been a supreme pain in the a$$ to keep them clean.

I would be interested but I don't think Seb is a fan of meth. I have asked him about it and he wants me to go e85, but the nearest place to get it is Henderson, NV, 100 miles away! I have a hard time formulating an opinion on meth as the pros and cons are about 50/50. I will probably end up doing whatever Seb recommends.

Dip them with them on the car & just use a toothpick to start the peeling. No need to remove. Its a freakin pain in the ***. Plus the adhesive you buys never goes on like OEM adhesive.

AZSPENG is throwing a get together on Friday afternoon. Free pizza too. They're in Chandler. I plan on going there to do a meet n greet. Supposedly they can make some badass **** for our cars. I think it'd be a good place to know and put on our radar

I have been wanting to meet these guys since they offered to let me use there lift when I was inquiring about doing an oil change. Seem like very nice guys. I also want to know what bad*** parts they make for our cars cuz I have been day dreaming about making a custom air splitter what ever u call them things out of carbon fiber for my fujimira front bumper. I'm bored waiting for my jdm parts to come in and need something to occupy my time :ugh2:

AzSpeng 05-15-2014 10:15 AM

Man we eat at your fine establishment enough....im sure we have met a few times already ;)

AzSpeng 05-15-2014 10:48 PM

Dont forget...tomorrow at SPENG, want to shoot for 6:30-7:00? Let me know a headcount so I can get pizza ordered. BOYB!

Yep me and Ss_firehawk and another bro of mine will be there.

AzSpeng 05-16-2014 07:16 PM

Drive around back if you would. Front door is open but it will be easier to keep an eye on your car and whatnot if you park out back since we will be in the back of the shop anyways.

SS_Firehawk 05-23-2014 04:11 PM

Z meet at Pinnacle Nissan starting at 4. They have my old car on display. I'll be there around 4:30-5:00. Anyone else able to make it?

Haboob 05-23-2014 04:15 PM

First I've heard about it.

I have an appointment at four already. :(

However, two weeks from tomorrow is Cars & Coffee. :excited:

Haboob 06-02-2014 01:16 PM

Cars & Coffee this Saturday @ Scottsdale Rd. & Double Tree Ranch Blvd. 6:30AM to ~9:00AM

I think my buddy and I are going to try to get there earlier (if he wakes up) so we can get a parking spot in the "show" portion, at least for his car. I may still park farther away. :icon17:

For those that haven't been: for regular parking, your best bet is to continue to the Gainey Suites Dr. light and pull in there at the red "X". You won't have to drive through crowds of people or within inches of half-million dollar cars (I've done it, very nerve-racking).

It's worth it though.

I missed the last one due to being out of town and my buddy said it was the best one yet with some amazing cars.

Sometimes there are a couple of Enzo's out there. A Veyron, SLS AMG Black Series, just tons of super rare, super expensive cars show up most the time since it's only once a month.

brutusvk 06-04-2014 11:43 AM

If you guys ever do a sunday get together, let me know. I am only off Sun, Mon right now. (with the occasional Sat night after like 7 pm)

Jumping in the AZ thread, I live in Tempe. Finally got all of my installs done 2 days ago by PitStop down on 7th ave in Phoenix ( great guys ) - anyways, if any of you guys play poker, I'm at the Talking Stick everyday in the 3/5 game and weekends the 5/10 when we get it going. - I have a 09 Gunmetal 370 with Stillen G3 CAIs, Z1 intake manifold, Z1 (34) row oil cooler, MotorDyne ART pipes & Motordyne E370z CBE , and a Zspeed V2 under shroud - Z sounds incredible, going to Tim @ Xactdyno either tomorrow or Tuesday for the tune. Just thought I'd stop by the AZ thread and say what's up to the locals. Where can I get to a track around here? I'm already worried about tix after racing up and down the 101 back n forth from the casino -

Wildhorse Pass off the 10 in Chandler. $30, unlimited races. $10 to spectate

I just went on Friday and the track is looking great.

jckilla 06-12-2014 01:01 AM

I looked at the dates available, it said the next day is July 7th, ( to race heads up 1/4 mile against anyone you want to match up with ) - let me know if there are earlier days to go. Will be leaving for Vegas on Saturday to play a couple events in the WSOP, should be back by he following weekend, if the track is open, let me know. Thanks

Where do you usually park? I'm over there a few times a week, play the 11:15 am tournament and sometimes the 7:15 pm ones. Be great to see your car, my 370z is yet to be modified, been thinking about doing a few things soon though.

jckilla 06-12-2014 01:47 AM

Second level parking garage ( handicapped sticker, had 2 failed back surgeries, that's why I've been playing cards for a living for the last 15 years ) - I'll be there tomorrow morning ( table 3 is the 1st morning 3/5 game ) - I'll be the one with the blue Z1 motorsports lanyard around my neck with my Nissan key fob. I'm getting my roof wrapped in carbon fiber either tomorrow or Thursday, car hauls balls after the tune, I'll take you for a ride if you want. Out by the casino, there are a few straights that I can get on it without worry of cops.

Very cool. I don't really have a set schedule I go, should be there tonight for the tournament and not sure after that. I'll take a peek in the garage when Im there each time to see if your car is there, I'll probably be out for the morning tournament Friday and maybe 1 day early next week. I'll come a bit early so if your not too in the game and have time we can take a spin, at least come say hi and meet another Z poker player... granted i"m making no living off it for sure, take the occasional tournament win, break even and consider it a good use of my idle time.

jckilla 06-12-2014 06:30 PM

Played early today ( usually do ), from 9 til 11:30 & won a little under $700. I'll be there tomorrow morning. Come over to the 3/5 game if you're there. My name's Josh btw.

pfdaxe 07-02-2014 09:26 AM

Anyone cruisin' to Pavilions in the next few weeks? I "may" go this Saturday (the wife's in NYC for the weekend) ;)

Haboob 07-02-2014 12:02 PM

Pretty sure my buddy and I are going Saturday. Maybe I'll wash my car before then too, who knows. :icon17:

Cars & Coffee is this Saturday too:

C&C and Pavs were pretty much a bust with the constant threat of rain, but still  to the people that showed up. Some nice cars still out there.

I attributed the poor showing at C&C to it being the holiday weekend too. People were probably hung over, or the rich folk were at their villa's on the coasts.

Emissions

Anyone here run a twin turbo 370z thru emissions yet? Not showing any codes but I also have no cats and not sure what they do besides plug into your obd2 port and look for codes. Gonna need tags here soon

PPEHeaders 07-15-2014 10:09 AM

They just do an OBDII check and gas cap check. No dyno or smog Check. You should be OK.
