Btw, the Z is a debateable "supercar" - Agreed with sean

What if we did the Jerome Cruise that following Sunday morning or something? I bet you Kevin (Haboob) would be down. Also I can ask around if we are serious. Get a couple more Z's.

The Z isn't worthy, but the M3/M5/M6 is (are)? They're not super cars either, but constantly are seen in rally's.

Damn European flair. :(

Hotrodz 03-28-2014 05:05 PM

I had a CL550 Merc try and run away from me yesterday....he was pissed because he couldn't get me off his back bumper. :p I love Euros too they just don't like me much :driving:

Haven't seen that before, but looks legit

Hotrodz 03-30-2014 11:30 AM

I was in Tucson over Labor Day last year and I saw one that look just like it on a new car dealer on east Grant Rd.

pfdaxe 03-30-2014 07:21 PM

Not sure if this belongs to anyone here, but this is a good price if you're looking for one. Just posted today:

Stillen Gen 3 Cold Air Intake (CAI) for Nissan 370Z

Or this one:

.

NickTurnon 03-30-2014 08:59 PM

Thats Yoshi's 370z - The Matte Yellow/Orange one.

Its a 40th Anniv with stillen front and about 2 months ago he wrapped the entire car and added Amuse Wing, Sides & Rear. & The K3's

Check his photos on FB - Yoshi Sukkha - Nice build & cool guy

NickTurnon 03-31-2014 01:43 PM

I will probably be cruising to Prescott on Sunday 4/6 to meetup with my girlfriends uncle and aunt. Did we want to try and get a little cruise together that day and ride out that direction? The remaining others can cruise out as well and eat lunch or take photos etc..?

Lets make definite plans?

zfanatic19 04-01-2014 01:23 AM

Hey everyone just wanted to drop in and say hello. Fellow Arizona Z owner, got a 2009 Plat Graphite that I like to drive around on the weekends when i get a chance. Looking forward to some meets or drives!

Haboob 04-02-2014 09:26 AM

Cars & Coffee this Saturday (and every first Saturday of the month) at Scottsdale Rd. & Double Tree Ranch - 7:00a to 9:00a or so, I've never stayed until the end.

Didn't have one in March (due to rain), so hopefully the turn out for this one is even better (usually it's pretty ******* sweet regardless).

Saturday or Sunday? I work both days but could possibly swing by real quick like b4 work. I will have my Z this afternoon and want to drive is soooo bad :driving:
Been 23 painful mos In the making :shakes head:

Haboob 04-02-2014 10:18 AM

I guess that would be important information. :icon17:

It's Saturday. It's the first Saturday of every month. I'll edit my post as well.

Haboob 04-02-2014 10:19 AM

Hopefully I can get my tires mounted to my new wheels (should be here tomorrow! :excited: ) and my new front rotors on before Saturday too, that'd be sweet.

Haboob 04-02-2014 10:21 AM

Oh, and FYI, the Penske Cars & Coffee (every third Saturday of the month @ Scottsdale Ferrari) is quite a bit smaller and boring. Very little parking, no where near the amount and variety of cars as the Double Tree Ranch show.

pfdaxe 04-02-2014 10:59 AM

I work Saturdays at least for the next month or so. I only have Sundays off with working 3 jobs...

tturbo370z 04-02-2014 01:52 PM

I looked it up on map and looks like its in the shoppes at gainey something or other. Any place specific there? I don't get up that direction ever. I have to be at work at 9am back in the east valley so 32 min each way I can hopefully see a few cars, meet a few people get some gas and head back to work. I will be easy to spot as my car is three different colors right now. I have a black bumper, white fenders and the rest is plat graphite. If ya see me say hi. Almost positive I can be there.

That's correct, the Shoppes at Gainey. It's all throughout that parking lot.

If you're coming from Shea (South on Scottsdale Rd from there), go through the light @ Double Tree and turn in at the next light - it's easier to get to a parking spot and you don't have to mob through the crowds and close to $250,000 cars. :eekdance: Did it once and I said I'd prefer running over a person than into a Lambo. :icon17:

VRSean 04-03-2014 05:42 PM

I'll be making the trip to Cars and Coffee and then deciding on joining the supercar run if you guys are up there. Its been pretty packed lately so I'm going to try to hit it at like 7am since the Supercar meetup is at 830 and in the same area.

Haboob 04-04-2014 08:16 AM

Hopefully I can get my car washed after my wheels are put on later today, before C&C. May have to suck it up and do it myself... I have zero patience, esp. after this week. :icon17:

NickTurnon 04-04-2014 10:24 AM

Do what I do since I dipped my car... Go to one of those $1.25 for 4 minute DIY places. Bring a couple towels, windex, and detail wax. I cant use wax or normal towels, but windex for the windows.. I usually use $2.50 total and spend about 15 minutes of my time.

But they have the foam, with the brush, and power washer with built in soaps and rinses.. Idk.. I have fun with it. Usually wear my bikini

VRSean 04-04-2014 12:29 PM

Every time I pull into the DIY carwash spot by me there is a huge clump of mud in every bay, I cant imagine what sort of love the brush would give my paint. But we use a mobile detail guy for $30, definitely taking advantage of that in the summer.

pfdaxe 04-04-2014 12:43 PM

Hey Sean:

Does your company replies to emails? I sent an email at the start of the week and no reply :shakes head:

Here's a copy:

"What type of tuning do you do? e.g.; UpRev etc.

Also, do you recommend a tune for my application? I have 09 370 7AT with Stillen Gen 3 intakes, Nismo H & Mid pipes with Top Speed axle back exhaust and 24 row oil cooler. I don't plan on adding anything else.

What types of gains could I expect and what would be the cost?"

Althought I was thinking about possibly a set of HFC's but don't really want to make my exhaust louder or rasp. Exhaust sounds great now.

:tiphat:

Does your mobile detail guy do a good job? You mind sharing his info? :)

Sorry for the issues boss, we don't offer tuning but UMS in Mesa is a Uprev dealer. HFC's are definitely going to add some sound, but not too much rasp, I will have Ralph PM you on some options. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

He does a way better job than me slaving away at it for sure, definitely better rates when he does groups. We normally have 3-5 cars lined up to get it to that better price

C&C and the Supercar run was a blast! Anyone else make it out?

Haboob 04-07-2014 11:59 AM

I was out at C&C and there were some nice rides again, but I don't have a supercar so I didn't go on the run. :(

Haha. I had to go pick up my wheels anyways.

VRSean 04-07-2014 12:17 PM

the Z hung in there pretty well, didnt have to really push it like I expected. The Enzo did blow my doors off, but he did the same to 98% of the rest of the group too.

Awwww man I sooooo wanted a stab at that. I can't play with normal cars cuz it's not worth the gas :inoutroflpuke: I couldn't stay long enuf for the super car run and had to leave for work at 8am. Oh well guess those 800 ponies will have to be staved off for another day :icon18:

DAAAAAAAAAAAUM! then again the Ferrari and lambo crowd can afford the impound, fines and insurance raping from such a good time on four wheels :rofl2:

Right?

I really want to do a Gold Rush Rally run (more affordable than the Gumball), but I can't afford all of the other stuff that goes with it (tickets, jail, impound, etc.).

I enjoyed the cruise up to Jerome, but even then one of us got busted for speeding.

Once you get to the curves, it's only 20-30mph (which I guess is still technically speeding at those points), but super, super fun.

Average speed was way up there, definitely felt odd backing it down to normal speeds in town and during traffic, 60 felt like a crawl. Some guys hit 175-180, but thats just crazy

pfdaxe 04-11-2014 02:06 PM

Anyone going?

Cruise on Central

:)

Showing some presence here now since I just moved here for work a couple weeks ago. I'm taking my car to get the AC fixed. I don't think it was filled with my new radiator...

Welcome. At least you're use to hot weather ;)

You'll have to meet up at Pavilions one of these Saturday nights. We all seem to miss each other out there...
