Have any of you heard of a Z around town with a "supercharged Titan engine making 650hp"?

Someone posted the pic on FB under "poor Z..." and someone commented that it has the above done to it.

I'm not quick to call BS, because I don't know the guy, nor have I seen this Z around town.


...that being said, the decals almost looked shopped to me.

I have seen a couple twin turbo'd 370z's out here but have yet to see a supercharged one. Its very possible he has a sc, and vk56... although both are expensive. The cost of a Vk56 swap is around 10-15k, plus 3-6k for supercharger.

& with an N/A VK56 and the right mods, you are at around 750hp. Thats not including the supercharger which would be another 50-100 or so maybe

And then to spend all that money and keep the stock wheels with bald tires?
There wouldn't be any traction.

So my guess is stock, washer mod, and decals.

I got a supercharger on my z and total bill came out around 7 with shipping and everything. Besides the point i had pretty crappy tires on her for a bit so i suppose its possible. :ugh2:

If anyone is interested, selling my stock Nismo CBE and stock Nismo springs. Just installed a FI system, and have no room or need to keep them. Looking for $600 obo for the exhaust, and $150 for the springs.

just wanna say wht a nice freakin weather we have finally!!

Went to Cars & Coffee on Saturday and wow, I did not realize it was that big/popular.

Good times standing on the road watching some cars leave too. Went to the Pavs later that night and it just didn't compare, but Pavs was much bigger than it has been (thanks, weather).

Classic car side was lacking though, very few of them there (maybe passed their bed time? :icon17: ).

I live off Raintree- so i went over there around 7:50 or so and had to help a friend move at 9. But as I was pulling in, a murcielago, GT3, and Viper all go flying by me at around 120. It was awesome haha!

It was nice to see all the cars that you don't see out on the roads often. TONS of great rides though. :tup:

Driving up to Jerome this Saturday with my buddy and his GTR.

I'm pretty excited. I've been wanting to drive in some twisty's for a long time, and get out of Phoenix, even if for a few hours.

So far it's just us. I'm sure more are welcome. I'm waiting for him to wake up (he works a night shift usually) and I'll get some details for ya.

I know for sure that the best twisty route is up Grand Ave through Wickenburg, then through Yarnell, Congress, and Prescott. 3hrs one way.

Yikes. I put a lot of miles on my car already. If we are going to drive 3 hrs, we might as well just go one more hr and hit vegas and stay the night.

I think Jerome is only an hour or more right?
