If you go the 17 route, but it's pretty boring that way.
Here are the two/three different routes... |
Looks like option C is the most fun and also only 10-15 minutes longer then shooting straight up the 17
|
Scottsdale to Payson then across on the 260 to Jerome is a rad run too as long as you dont get stuck behind old man bikers.
|
Yeah, the one up through Wickenburg has the most turns though, just quite a bit longer.
|
If you guys make the trip on Saturday and take I-17 on the way back, you should stop by my firehouse and say hello. I'll be on-shift. Exit 242 at Black Canyon... :)

If y'all want to go, you're welcome to join.
Probably going to do option C, as I don't think most people will want to do the three-hour drive. |
Pennzoil Ultra
Does anyone go to WalMart to get their oil? If you do, does anyone know if your WalMart you go to carry Pennzoil Ultra? It seem I can't find it in any WalMart 20 miles from where I'm at. Thanks everyone!

Hopefully this works; doing it from my phone.
Link to info on the Jerome cruise. I think there are four, maybe five people going so far? http://www.the370z.com/2522453-post.html Sent from my iPhone. |
Maybe snap a few pics If you guys decide to stop by. I'm on-shift from 8a-8a, but have training from 10a-1p. Either way....enjoy the cruise :tiphat:

It was fun though. Next time we're going to plan it out a little farther in advance so that we can get more people. It was just three cars, but still fun. Only one ticket, for the M3, and that was pretty much right at the beginning. |
First Arizona Thread....
Spotted a midnight blue base Z on the 101 North from the 10. A woman driving (I'm pretty sure, was difficult to see in) and passenger. ;)
Caught up to give her a thumbs up, then realized I was at my exit and had to drive crazy to get over. Oops, first impressions... Hahaha. Hopefully she doesn't think I'm some crazed kid driving a Z. I like to think our community is better than that! Sent from my iPhone. |
Spotted:
White 2013, female driver on Scottsdale Rd Saturday night. You got lit up by Scottsdale PD trying to catch back up to me (assume for multiple lane change?). Lol, I feel so bad for that. Sent using Tapatalk. |

Hopefully we meet again, so I can apologize and/or see if she actually received a ticket. :icon17: I wish the Z's I see were on the forums, would be easier to setup a meet somewhere with more than 3-5 of us. |
Spotted a new black 2013 Sport on the 101 N (West Valley) over the weekend.
No one ever looks back to acknowledge my wave or thumbs up anymore. :( Also saw Jenna (J3NNAZ) on Monday over by Norterra. |

I have some ideas for future Z plans...they keep brewin' in my head.:stirthepot: |

I'm down, however I can't do anything the weekend of the Nov. 22-24. I have to work (they're rebuilding our server room and moving some equipment in). |

My woman bought us tickets. Should be fun. Thinking about maybe getting new rear and front bumpers around xmas time.. Uh ohs |

Maybe I'll start with debadge and plastidipping the door handles for now. Maybe a new powder coat on the calipers soon and intake after (or before) that. |

You should do a little research on the maf tubes + k&n.. for the money, its half the price and you get close to the same amount of hp as some of the top brands.. unless you're going for looks. Then by all means, splurgeee. What color brakes |

I was thinking either a lime green or hyper yellow. Then, my buddy and I saw this S2K with black rims and a hyper yellow lip... I really liked that and think it'd go well with hyper yellow calipers. Even like a royal or powder blue caliper may look good and contrast well. Orrr, body-colored calipers (mid. blue) and hyper yellow rims, though that may be a bit too much. |

Hey guys if you looking for some good low mile used parts I will have stuff for sale once I get my car back from Specialty Z. I have things like Z1 intake manifolds and K&N drop in filters, a Nismo AEM CAI, Nismo exhaust, AAM exhaust, ART pipes (Nick's got 1st on the AEM exhaust and ART pipes), Stillen light weight pulley, Nismo springs and probably my m-370 manifold. I'm willing to bring them to Phoenix, Vegas and maybe so SoCal if I'm headed that way. Just a heads up before I offer them on the for sale thread. Just PM if you have any interest....I'm ready to deal.
Would love to come to a meet once I have FI TT to show off!! :yum: |
Spotted the first Monterrey Blue Z I've seen in Phoenix this morning.
The 10 E 'round 67th-59th Aves. Also saw a GM Z (could have been a 40th though). Waved, but tinted on tinted in the dark, they probably didn't see me. :icon17: |
Who here in AZ (Chandler area or so) would be interested in getting some free fab/machining work in trade for lending your car for R&D work?

The rates are pretty reasonable and also include a month to month vendor license. Vendor Lic |
I would love to sign up as a vendor and the rates are fine. However I'm not selling anything nor am I charging anyone for anything right now. I need product to sell ;)
|
Very well, just be aware of this.
|
If that is not ok please tell me. I will abide by all the rules here.

I saw a Black Nismo right next to me this morning on Ray Rd to get on I-10. I gave he or she a thumb up and dont know if he or she saw me . Didnt want to roll down the window cuz it was too cold. Happy Monday everyone!

Saw Kevin (Haboob) on the 101 this Saturday! Cruising with his buddy in a red GT-R
We were able to say hi and have a full conversation doing 75mph. Talk about fun. |

It's really difficult to hear at 75mph! And it was cold. |
Does anybody know if there a good paint shop around in chandler, tempe, phoenix?
|
We use Allard in Chandler, John over there is great and the quality is thru the roof!
Allard Collision - Chandler, AZ |
Hey guys, recent 370Z owner, I traded in my FRS. Its nice to see that the first thing I read on this last page I am familiar with. I just had John at Allard repaint my Triumph 675 pearl white. He has also done all my FRS parts. Good guy and great quality. In fact if I ever do a 240/280Z project I will be going to him for paint.
|
What color Z are you driving now?
I found your intro thread. Welcome! Depending where you are downtown, you may see me driving around. I work down there too. |
