Went to D.C. for a week over New Years. Had a great time. I brought the "warm" weather with me, and left it here to "snow" in Phoenix. :icon17:

The day we left the wind and snow were moving in finally - didn't get to see the snow, but it was due the day after we left.


So... to this date, I still haven't seen snow. May try to head north over MLK weekend and see snow.

I dropped my car off at the shop yesterday. Hopefully it will get all squared away and I can show up to some of these events. :)

Wife wants to move to Arizona next year... Got a few questions, were is the majority of Z owners from. What is a good area in AZ to move to.

Wanted to get a feel for were everyone is. I love our cars and looking for like minded crew. Good shops and AutoX events.

Lots of great places in the valley. I am partial to the NW Valley. It depends on finances. There are many demographics in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Northern AZ can be very pricey in areas like Sedona, etc. Tucson is another big area too. Where you thinking of moving to? Job?

Retired, 100% disabled. Looking for long twisty roads and a house with no CDD or HOA. Tuscon is were i have been looking. Oro Valley but we haven't decided yet.

Anyone in flagstaff? I'll be driving by and camp out at the Grand Canyon fora couple of days this week, would like to meet up and grab food in flagstaff. Satchno's is pretty good, yeah?

I live around wild horse pass raceway. They are always usually doing some track and drift stuff. Maybe i'll see ya there after I buy drift wheels :)

I live in the West Valley, but I don't really like it. They do have a large retirement community over here (Sun City and Sun City Grand), but they also do on the far east side in Mesa/Gilbert as well.

I'm hopefully moving to the Scottsdale/Central Phoenix/Tempe area soon, a bit of a younger crowd, IMO (I'm 29).

Oro Valley is beautiful though, in Tucson. Though, I don't really think there's much to do in Tucson. It's called "North Mexico" for a reason...


You're not going to find many twisty roads in the city. There are some over in Ahwatukee I believe and up near Congress on the way to Jerome and the Grand Canyon. There may be a few more south near Tucson though.

Oh, and most West Valley homes do have an HOA, the newer East Valley communities do as well.

I love Tuscon even though I don't live there anymore. There is a race track as well but I don't know anything about events. Also, if you are looking for a milder climate, you should consider Prescott. It's one of the best retirement small cities in the USA and there is easy access to canyon roads. I don't know if there is any AutoX, but Phoenix is 1.5 hours away.

Hey cycy when are headed this way, because you will have to travel through Kingman to get to the Grand Canyon? I will picking my Z up on Friday and leaving Kingman on Thursday. I would very much enjoy meeting you and seeing your Z on the ground instead of in the air on a lift...LOL

I won't have my z unfortunately. I'll be camping at Grand canyon Wednesday and Thursday, and will be in LA that weekend to check on the Z! I don't know where kingman is but I'll be in flagstaff for lunch on Wednesday before head to the canyon.

Got it...Kingman is west of Flagstaff so when you leave the Grand Canyon and head west to LA on I40 you will pass through Kingman two 1.5 after you leave Williams. I will be in SoCa all weekend too, maybe we can meet up at FI if you are there on Friday.

I thought they were going to tune your car as well this week...didn't think they had anything else to do?

Ya for sure. The plan is I'm gonna test drive it on saturday and go to super car Sunday with FI. I'll work out the details with Tony this week. I need to go to aero jacket to pick up a few parts as well.

Hey AZ peeps! Anyone here live at Toscana of Desert Ridge? It's my second home and I saw a white 370Z in Building 1' garage. I wanted to say hello. I was cleaning my GTR and getting ready to take her out. Anyone on here by chance?

I don't know anyone that lives there, but I use to work there when it was being built. I was the Safety Manager for the developer :happydance:

However, I'm again going to miss it, because they're offering me OT on Saturday. At first it was at 9:00a and I was going to go and leave early, but now they moved the start time up to 8:00a and it's not worth going out there for only an hour, if that.

I barely use these forums, but I wanted to see if I had run across two members from the other day.

I was travelling Westbound on the 101 (around 7th Street maybe) on Thursday at around 2:40-2:50 and I came across a red 370 and a black 370 (Nismo). I was driving a silver one.

I may still have them on my dash-cam if I didn't record over it already, lol.

I was driving down the 51 last night around 6:30 and saw another 09 silver 370z - We need to get some Z's together!

I have been to a few car shows lately. Haven't seen many 370z's.

Hey guys, I just got Swift spec-r springs and was wondering if you AZ guys would know a good shop to get them installed at for a good price. All the estimates i'm getting are around $550 :shakes head: ! and I paid $300 for springs!
