funny you mention this; we just open a GB for the guys over at MX5.net to announce the new RaceRom featurefile coming rollout for the MX5. So we got a REAL GOOD deal from the mothership for buying a LARGE lot of harware.

So I tell you what I will do; I'll do the same deal on hardware for you guys if there is enough interest

no your hardware is the same price(if you take this offer) but your tuning is a bit more indepth.

Frankly MX5s are pretty damn easy to make scream, the 370 is a bit tougher nut to crack, and we spend more time per client.

Does that make sense?

Noo I meant, because the 370 crowd is a lot smaller, prices in general for aftermarket parts (like exhausts) on our cars are higher than say compared to Mustangs or something.

Nice to know you spend more time on the 370 tunes though

PM'd you a couple ?s

So we have been getting a bunch of calls PMs and emails about a GB on the EcuTek tuning for the 370. I wanted to see if there was an interest, and roughly how many folks would like in?

This would be for the ProECU cable kit, with one license, and a custom re calibration , based on your datalogs, for your car.

As you may have gathered from other threads, our tuning comes complete, with all your future updates covered, as long as you own the car. Any mods you do, simply submit a new set of logs, and we port you out a new file within a short time.

Want to go to the dyno? Just let us know, and we will put you at the top of the que that day, so you don't waste expensive dyno time waiting for updated files.

The GB will be for normal atmo cars. If you have a FI set up, PM me and we can discuss the difference. I will include the FI guys,if the interest is there, but with a slight bump for the extra work involved.

Oh, and BTW, yes, if you buy in this GB(assuming you guys want one) , you WIL GET ALL FUTURE RACEROM UPDATES FOR FREE. I just wanted to make this clear, so when the patch get to us that includes flat foot shifting, launch control, map switching, custom mapping, etc, ect, you WILL RECEIVE IT as part of your initial buy. Yes, its a bunch more work for us this way, but we are so sure that this software is the best option for this platform, we are willing to do it to get you guys dialed in. I hope that answers questions on that.

Now, your gonna ask" what discount for the GB?". I can't tell you just yet, as I need a show of hands to see who might be on board. But I will tell you this, our normal pricing for this car is lower than you can get a custom calibration
anywhere. And since we buy in bulk, your cost on hardware going to be far less also. So, in essence, the more the merrier!

So, anyone interested?

Pls check your PMs when you get a chance Thanks. :tiphat:

OK been really trying to not air this but too much is too much..

So we all know I was looking for a ECUteck dyno to compare to the UPREV tune I had. So I reached out to a few guys and Dynoytonics was one of course. I decided to go this route and was contacted by email and I paid right away( That was OCt 22) Whats the date again? It took only a few days to get to me, An I set it up on my laptop and hooked up the car, ECU not found. I sent Joe a text and email nothing for a few days, So I called him on a Friday night when I got home. I tell him that the ECU is found and he tells me I can not call on a Friday night and expect him to fix anything??? Really it was like 645pm my time so like 545pm his. An he is at the track all that weekend so would have to be next week. So like a week later I finally get him to log on remotely and do a ECU dump and he tells me it will take like 2 day at the most.. 10 days later no word from him at all!! I finally call him and get him on the phone and tell him I will no longer be using this software and would like a refund, He tells me that's cool would rather you be happy :)
Ok thought that was nice since I just wasted over a month on my time just trying to get this set up. Its been 2 weeks since they received all the equipment back and I Still have NO refund, I have talked to him three times now and say "OH its the payment site we use", Well that's BS cause I just called them an they said they was NEVER a refund issued. So here it 10+days later and they are just kepping my money, When I talked to him today he pushed it off to his accounting person and gave me an excuse he was out of the office.. He may have been, but I do want my cash back the $660 I sent from my debit card.

Oldest excuse in the book. Most tuner shops don't have an "accounting person".. but it sounds legit so customers buy it. I'm not exactly sure how it works with debit but I would contact my bank immediately and find out if you can do a charge back or something, that is complete BS.

You mean Joe? Him directly every time. Looks its not that I don't understand people get busy, But no contact unless I called ,Just a tuff thing to have happen all the time. I have since moved on to a different tune. An he contacted me twice already once to make sure I got it in the mail and the other to talk about some things, There was someone on here who was helping me more with the ECUteck more than the guy a bought it from. Just did not make sense.? ? ?

I know you do, But if someone can finally put out a dyno sheet comparing the two would have switch, If there are significant gains , Then I will have to of course rethink the way I went but as of now I cant see or find anything to make me spend the extra $400.

Why do you think I was pushing so hard to get my car set up? I wanted to put something out here that would show gains or not, with the same car mod's, dyno, ETC. But that all FAILED big time

nope, just had to stop and answer a few phone calls first, sorry!

The issue with Mikes refund is pretty simple, now that we figured out what the problem was; we could not get Paypal to give him a refund, problem was that Mike did not pay with Paypal, he used our Intuit link on the invoices that we sent out.

Mike, I'm sorry for the delay, but it was one of those Duh moments when we finally got a return call from Paypal after yelling at them about the whole thing.

Long story short; refund sent, should be back in your account/credit card shortly. Sorry about that Mike, but since the Group Buy was a paypal link deal, I and the bookeeper kept trying to figure out why they were not giving you a refund.

And, as far as Mikes file being delayed in the first place; some calibrations ARE unknown when we first get them, and we promptly send them off to EcuTek to define them, and include them in the software. Mikes car was one of those, and for some reason it took longer than normal. Which is why we told Mike we had no problem with a full refund. If nothing else, we do our level best at customer service
