It's worth it in terms of improvements in bottom end torque, throttle response, and overall smoothness of engine response.
Peak gains will be minimal, but so long as you don't base everything on dynoplots, I doubt you'll be disappointed. Moreover, if you have a 7AT, they can firm/speed up the shifts with a tune as well.
