Question about Osiris and Uprev

Hey guys, I recently installed cai and exhaust and I'm installing hfc's next week. Thats probably as far as I'm going on performance for a while so I was thinking about getting Osiris with some Uprev e-tunes. Is it worth the $500, and what kind of gains can I expect?

It's worth it in terms of improvements in bottom end torque, throttle response, and overall smoothness of engine response.

Peak gains will be minimal, but so long as you don't base everything on dynoplots, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Moreover, if you have a 7AT, they can firm/speed up the shifts with a tune as well.

Exactly the info. I was looking for. I appreciate it Jordo!

I might be skipping the HFC's because I really like the tone and volume of my exhaust the way it is. I'm thinking about driving to Uprev and getting a dyno tune. Is it worth doing with only Injen cai and cat back exhaust? Will I see improvements?

I got a tune thinking I wouldn't gain much, but I did. Even with my mods, my car was running super rich. Now, I will add that every car is different. You may gain alot, or nothing. I gained 26hp and 25tq with a tune. Results may vary.

I sure would hate to spend 650 bucks for nothing though.

Most vendors are $595 including dyno time. You might want to check around. I didnt have a choice since my car was running crappy, but it was the best "mod" for me so far.

You think it is good when you pay someone else, you should buy the cable and do it yourself that's where the fun is.:hello:

I called Uprev in Austin today and they quoted me $650 + tax. That does seem pretty high but I don't know of anyone else in my area with a dyno that uses Uprev.

We were talking about Uprev in Austin TX... Every shop is different. AAM just recently did the protuner buy in so they were running a special to try and recoup some of the money
