Just thought I'd share

So, my car was throwing a CEL for awhile, and I'd just disconnect the battery and it'd go away, but after maybe a 100 miles of driving it would come

Default Just thought I'd share

So, my car was throwing a CEL for awhile, and I'd just disconnect the battery and it'd go away, but after maybe a 100 miles of driving it would come back on. So, I would disconnect the battery again and it'd go away.

Well, anyway, my buddy was looking under my car to see if anything was broken or leaking and one of my O2 sensors was loose. So he tightened it down and I haven't had a CEL since (fingers crossed) lol.

If you would have scanned the car it would have gave you a code/cell that would have indicated that something is up with your 02 sensor.

Yep! This can also happen if you have an aftermarket high flow cat or test pipe. That's why we recommend customer to use the FREE cel fix that comes along with the package.
