Default Suggestion on Uprev

Let me start off by saying I have a 2012 Touring/Sport. I got it back in March and only have 950 miles to date. I have ordered the Agency CBE and Takeda Stage 2 CAI within the past two days. I expect to get these by the week of the 10th. I plan on doing an Uprev tune later in the summer. I was wondering what you guys suggest doing, Is it suggested to have these bolt ons installed and run a couple hundred miles on them before doing an Uprev, bolt on and tune without running mileage through them or should I do a tune bone stock and then do another tune after the parts have been installed. Oh I should add that a dyno tune will be done too. Thanks in advance.

Bolt ons and then tune.

Generally no need for a tune when bone stock except for maps, fan control and rev/speed limiter.

With bolt ons you are putting more air in and out of your engine which messes with the afr on the stock tune.

The main reason for a tune is to get the engine running at a steady afr to prevent damage and increase power. There are of course other reasons but this is the reason to get it.

Just make sure you have done all your mods before you get your tune or you will end up going back for a retune.
