The Osiris license is just software code, Like Microsoft windows. When you buy direct from uprev it comes on a USB-obd2 cable that allows you to flash the ecu. If you get flashed at the shop they just load a license and tune onto your ecu, you pay full price for the license but dont get the cable. According to uprev's website the Osiris license is $300, so the dyno tune should be $300 cheaper if you already have the license on your ecu.

It's a way better deal for you to buy it separately.
