Yes, you can switch maps on the fly no need to remove anything.

Ok here is what I came across when I had my car uprev tuned. I asked the tuner if I could have one of my map settings set to stock, one for theft, etc.. He told me that I could but it will always be saved under the uprev tuning process (and never removed completely). So another words (from what he had explained to me) once you get an uprev tune its like your girlfriend/car isnt a virgin anymore, lol.. Im not sure if this is completely correct or not. BTW is there not anyone on this forum that works for a Nissan dealership that could explain or by chance is actually interested in this.

when they are saying to flash it back to stock before taking it they aren't talking about using the cruise control buttons. you plug in your laptop and reflash the whole ecu back to stock software, then reinstall urev after service.
