Best gear to dyno in?

This should be an easy or simple answer but I can't seem to find it on the net or here in the forums via search button. I've been trying to figure out which gear is best for the dyno on our cars, so far the answer between a few people has been split between 4th and 5th. Some people say 4th because 5th takes too long to go through. Some people say 5th because it is a 1:1 ratio. Can I get some more feedback please so I can go to my next dyno confident? Thank you.

for a 6mt: 5th gear, it's a 1:1 ratio and therefore the correct gear to dyno in.

for a 7at: 4th gear is the correct gear to dyno in iirc, it's the closest to 1:1.

on the 7at , its also the 5th gear
