^^^can someone confirm this please.

Their FAQ says technically you can, but you need to consult them first. So I'm assuming that it's a little more technical than just reverting back to a stock tune with the AP.

I agree it seems they had a side dish of fail come along with their VVEL dinner. Besides, the corporate jargon at the beginning basically means they are not getting return on their invested time and/or are having financial woes in those areas and have to cut the specified product lines. Uprev with an actual dyno tune and forget about the AP I say. :p

Ive edited this post because i dont want to sound like im bashing Cobb. to this day we even use the first V1 AP on our 500whp STI. and i personally bought the V2 AP for my Suby. I did have problems with my V2 AP and had to send it back to them for reprograming... but still gave them good reviews.

Cobb, its sad you couldnt come through i mean lets set all the other features aside. We all know and you know everyone buys the AP for one reason only. the basic OTS maps.....

On another side note. 2 months ago i personally called Cobb about OTS maps and who ever i talked to was very short, didnt seem to care about my questions just overall didnt want to talk.... Its all about customer service.

:"(

Well I ended up getting a good deal and bought one used. It's pretty nifty and I guess Cobb support doesn't matter. They were never going to make maps for it anyways, but if you have access to a shop like AAM that will use it to tune it's all good.

Uprev just told me that cracking the \vvel is a top priority with them and they are planning to purchase a G37 or 370Z in the next 4-6 weeks for testing.

I think Imma go with uprev!

Sick. I have heard nothing but good stuff with uprev. After the exhaust and LTH's an Uprev tune will be next.

If they can they will have a huge monopoly on the tuning side of the house.

Do you have an email or something confirming this?
