Personally i find it pointless of changing the limiter. iiunno about other cars but mine makes max power at 7300rpm. Just risk blowing the engine up going higher without valve

Personally i find it pointless of changing the limiter. iiunno about other cars but mine makes max power at 7300rpm. Just risk blowing the engine up going higher without valve springs. Maybe on FI it would benifit it...I had a Cobalt SS Supercharged...stock limit was 6500, i changed it to 7200rpm and made max power at 6850rpm. Changed supercharger to a Harrop TVS and changed rpms to 7500, power was still climbing at 7500 but i didnt have valve springs so i wasnt going to push the motor higher.
