So I've been meaning to check this on my car for awhile and finally did today when I got home, in neutral in the garage. Bought the car last december. I tried the ecuteck instructions first, nothing. Then the uprev instructions and it blinks back. Cruise control blinks back how many times I clicked cancel so I'm assuming I'm tuned with uprev. Cruise control has worked fine. Now I'm worried because I don't know what map I was in and don't want to put it into a map that might hurt something. Do I have anything to worry about? From researching it looks like the most common maping is:
1: Tuned Map for 91 Octane 2: Tuned Map for Higher Octane 3: Valet 4: Anti-Theft 5: Factory Maps Is there a way to verify if this is my setup? What else should I know? Also I bought the car in Florida and brought it to utah, would the tune not be as good now? I've been very happy with the power and performance of the car, hope I don't f that up now lol. Thoughts?

Then as you test each Map, see if you"ll come across with no start(Anti-theft) If still not convinced, meet one of our members (there is got to be at least one) that is closer to you with Uprev cable. Hooked it up to your PC and OBD2 and see!

Funny cause we have the same car. Talked to uprev today and they said either buy a cable from them with a map or go to a pro tuner...license is there so only dyno time/tune would be an expense. pretty cool. I haven't driven again yet as the weather is bad today and tomorrow. I think I'll try the 3 Maps and see if I can tell any diference. What are you going to do?

Knock on wood, if you have issue with your car how will you going to drive to your tuner? you said it is 3 hours drive? Having a cable with you, you can just flash it in your garage anytime. : If you no longer have a warranty! i guess it is Ok, but the convinience of flashing your car on your own or when you decided to sell the Uprev, you can pair that license in the cable and sell it. I would be very concerned. Florida has 93 octane and it's at sea level. You're at altitude on 91. You've got to be running lean. Go make a pull on a dyno and see what the sniffer says your AFR is.

The higher the altitude the lower octane required. I'm at over 5300ft and 91 should be fine here. I will get it to a dyno soon though and see what each Map looks like a determine if I need a re-tune

Altitude has less air. Cars pop rich up here.

Yup we're about the same altitude... it was 75 degrees today and now it's snowing outside right now ha ha. Good times
