I thought the Civic Si had some issues with the 2nd and 3rd gear synchros? I also have a 07 Civic and I thought I read on the forums that

I also have a 07 Civic and I thought I read on the forums that the Si's had some issues. On SRT4s (my previous car) the trans would only take so much abuse from WOT shifting before the synchros gave up and died. At worst the synchro gear would break up and bounce around the trans, wreaking just about everything. In my case I ended up buying an upgraded transmission once I was locked out of 2nd.
