I drive DC2R I couldn't do it before as well until I got my ATS X-Gears :P
and then it was easier to play around with. you could consider this altho it can get pricey

its deffinetley the synchros. ours has it a little bit of a prob under hard load in the sixth. some people have actually gone out around 10,000 miles
