I think most gave up. I've heard ASP is fun though.

Sure it will be, but Hoosier costs too much.

Do you guys adjust front camber on site? What effect does it do to the toe? Does it make it more toe-out or more toe-in.

The reason I ask is that I plan to run less than -3 on the street, but preferably for auto-x you want to run more than that.

I'm going to my first auto x ever next weekend, I'm pretty stoked. Getting lost on the course is my main concern haha.

You'll do fine, just take it easy your first run to learn the course and try and have an instructor ride with you.

Make sure you get there early, check everything on the car over again (torque lug nuts, check tire pressure, etc), and walk the course a bunch of times with someone who has done it before. You'll have a great time!!

I think everyone gets lost at first just try not to run over any course workers. It can seem like a sea of cones. Walking the course is a must but it will be different at speed. Ask someone with experience to ride along with you because that can help a lot.

Thanks guys, I'm running and working in the afternoon so I should be able to get a couple of walks of the course and maybe ride along with a friend who runs earlier(also a noob). I'll definitely take it easy, I'm there to have fun not to push it and make super times. Yet haha.

Also I have a dash cam installed so I should be able to post up vids of my run for y'all to critique and giggle at.

March Fastrack:
#20319 Same line 350Z and 370Z
The PAC feels that combining the 350Z and 370Z to one line in Appendix A does not cause a competitve imbalance in F Prepared. This allows using motor components from the 350Z to the 370Z motor and vice versa.

The proposed listing in Appendix A would be as follows:

FP
Nissan & Datsun
350Z (2003-2008)/370Z (2009-17)
Anyone want to build an FP 370z using a motor similar to what was used on the PWC and Conti series 370z's?

You could make more power in an FP 3.7 than the World Challenge cars ever made...

Getting ready for KC region SCCA solo and am going to pull the trigger on some magnetic numbers. What size is everyone running and which would you all recommend between 8, 10 and 12 inch?

SCCA rules state 8" numbers and 4" letters.

Also our doors are aluminum so don't expect magnets to stick. Reuseable vinyl works well though.

I've always had good luck getting my numbers from SPS Performance.

Magnets are still good for the fenders and quarters. With that being said, I like the balance look of having number on the doors

FP 370z could be interesting. Have to figure out how wide the porsche is right now and see how the size goes. Power could definitely be in the 400+whp range, just matters if the car can be light/narrow enough.

Honestly, there were courses where Dave in his 914 was only marginally faster than my BSP car. Totally course dependent, but seeing as how I could make 100whp more and take about 250-300lbs out of the car it would have been a pretty even fight at worst. That said, when Tom O ran the 914 we were never in the same ballpark.
