PDX SCCA Track Driving Safety??

I haven't done this yet, but this weekend it's happening near Houston. I seems to me, with instructors and limited passing, this is safer than driving the freeway at 7:00

I haven't done this yet, but this weekend it's happening near Houston. I seems to me, with instructors and limited passing, this is safer than driving the freeway at 7:00 am on a work day. So, I think I will pass on the additional insurance for a one day track time of $225.00. ??????? thanks
