Looks like we are on for Laguna Seca in Sept.
Mike Skeen an BJ Zacharias will once again be teaming up in the Hawk Performance , Nissan Motorsports Doran 370Z RC.

Just make sure that Mike knows to dodge those random BMW idiots this time around. :rofl2:

Again.... We were on rains with 20 minutes of racing on a drying track HELLO!!!!

I'm just bustin' balls...I'm a huge fan. I'm very impressed by what you've accomplished in such a short amount of time...many teams don't get anywhere near the front of the pack for years. I smile when I hear the announcers say "another pole position from the Nissan team." You make me proud and the car is awesome. I can't wait for Laguna Seca..good luck, again!

If Doran car should easily do 1:34 to 1:35 lap times if its faster than old AM cars. Should be a good race with experienced driver. Although likely will be cool out there so heavy cars might not run out of tire.

This will most likely be the Doran RC's last outing for 2012 ...but we are already planning 2013.

Daytona... We will know more about 2013 at the end of Sept but we are upbeat about it.
Right now... the main objective is back at it this week after the shop was closed last week.
Get back at it and prep to brig home a W from Laguna.
That's the game plan anyway...

P7 during yesterday's test sessions on older rubber.
A couple minor glitches we had to sort during the 2nd session.
1:36.5 and still working on dialing it in.
2 practice sessions today then prac quali race tomorrow.
Let the gaaaaames begin.

BJ just took the lead from the Aston....now under full course caution. Good job BJ...now hold them off.

BJ just took the restart. Before he was able to cross the start finish a multi car wreck took place in the back of the GS field. Back under full course caution.

looks like they just pitted and switched to mike skeen... they are in p14 currently

We can all thank wonderful GRAND-AM officials for killing BJ and Mike's chances of a win (at this point). A minor infraction as a result of wrecked cars sitting in the pit stalls both in the front and rear caused Mike to accidentally clip a wheel sitting in the pit box.

The team will now have to perform a stop and go penalty.

Very nice spot light on the DORAN Team, Kevin Doran himself, the NISSAN MOTORSPORTS program, Mr. Stukenburg. Glad to see the media giving the due coverage to the team. I saw from the coverage that DORAN team was pitted right next to the ST Skull Candy Nissan Altima.

yea i just checked the live timing and saw he's back up towards the top 10... :woot:
